Chapter 11

Chapter 11:

I met up with my girls at lunch today. We sat in our usual spot and were talking. Just then I saw Sam limp into the cafeteria. I smiled knowing I was the cause of his misfortune.

"Oh.oh smile alert" Daneisha blurted out "any one see Jarviss."

"Girl bye, what I'm laughing at is way to juicy for y'all to hear. I say teasing them.

No! They scream forcing me to tell them.

"Ok, so when I went back out this morning it was because Sam texted me. I wasn't gonna go but I needed clarity and closure. So when I get there this fool smiling ear to ear talking about some baby shit like we still together."

"Uh uh" Ashlyn said

"Um hmm girl. So I quickly dismiss him. He said why he acted like that was because of Jarviss staring at me, but the niggah shouldn't have out his hands on me. Then he say I don't have class. I told him what I had to say then I went to walk off. He grabbed me again and I was tired of that shit so I gave him 5 seconds. He thought I was playing and he was laughing in my face. So I kneed him right in his treasures. Believe you me fool felt every bit of that."

"You go girl" Sydney says slapping me 5.

"What I wanna know is what's with you and jail bird" Stephanie said completely changing the subject.

"Nothing I took him home from the police department and we talked that's it."

"You sure that's it" Stephanie says staring me down.

"Yes girl"

Just then I felt someone behind me. I turned around and then back around in disgust. What does he want now.

"Can you give me and my lady a minute" Sam asked the girls.

I knew after last night they lost all respect for him and wasn't gonna do anything for him, and I don't blame them.

"Whatever you need to say to me you can say in front of them." I say sticking up for my friends.

"So we still at this childish shit huh"

"The only child I am is a child of god get you together"

"Whatever, imma let you have your little moment but when it's all said and done i get the last laugh."

I looked right in his face and spit all contents of food that were in my mouth right on him. I stood up walked away laughing. Ashlyn looked at him saying

"No baby WE always get the last laugh."

Everyone im the cafeteria was now catching on to the spectacle. We walked away high fiving each other laughing. And imitating his face. , although it was pretty priceless I couldn't help but notice.

Sam has been sending a lot of threats sense our breakup and that does not sit well with me.

After school I walked the back way to possibly run into Jarvis when I'm with him I forget about all this drama going on in my life right now. And really need him here for me. I walked and waited for almost 10 minutes and since I didn't see him a figured he had already gone. Instead of walking all the way back to the front entrance. I decided I'll go out the back entrance and walk around. As I walked around the door I saw Jarviss walking away from a black Mercedes Benz with tinted windows. They drove right passed me I don't think they noticed me but I thought it was odd. I decided to go back inside and meet him when he walks back inside. He walked inside and didn't even notice me, he walked right passed me. I called out to him.

"Jarvis"

He turned and when he saw it was me he smiled and jogged towards me. My midnight eyes met his emerald ones and he said.

"Hey what's up?"

It sounded like Jarviss was talking but not the happy Jarviss that I knew.

"Uh.oh someone needs a good laugh" I said.

"Ha! Nah I'm straight" he said but he didn't sound to sure.

"Come on!" I said. "I'm taking you somewhere"

"What? Where?"

"You talk to much" just come on.

"I'll meet you in the parking lot" he said laughing

"Alright see you"

I walked over to my car and told Stephanie if she loved me she would take Ashlyn, Sydney, and Daneisha home. I told her she would find out in a minute why. We were all leaned against my car when he pulled up. Yes I mean pulled up. On a bright ass red motorcycle. What? I was not expecting that.

"You ready to go?" He asked

"Yeah, I was just expecting both of us to ride in my car" I said with a bit of shock in my voice.

"Ha! I can't have you pushing me around everywhere. You see what my parents are working with. You really thought I was around here without a whip."

"I don't know" I replied

"You have a lot to learn shorty" he said as he revved his motorcycle and I hopped into my car.

Ashlyn ran up saying "I'm coming with y'all"

But I gave her a look that said "bitch if you even try Imma cut your ass into a million pieces."

"Never mind" she said kinda disappointed.

We pulled out the lot with me in front and him following. Sam noticed as we were pulling out and I blew my horn just to piss him off. Jarviss even revved louder when he went by. We went off to go be alone for the first time. We both needed to have a little bit of fun.
