Chapter 4:Crazy About You

I missed school for three days, I went to the doctors and I had to take it easy for a bit. I didn't miss much because Nathaniel, the student body, would email me my homework and the lesson plans. I was busy the whole time but at least I had something to distract me. After that day I had thoughts of him every night, I didn't like it one bit because I knew he didn't see me that way. But since that day I haven't seen him, he hasn't even come to visit me. Surprisingly, I thought he would at least come but the person who did come was Rosalya, who I ended befriending in the end. She was probably the coolest girlfriend that I ever had, all she did was talk about her boyfriend or clothes she was designing. She is a very cheerful person and also teasing, which is the only part I didn't like. She didn't quite figure out but knew something was on my mind, all she asked was if I like anybody and if that person was someone close to me. Gosh, this girl sure does like sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, but I think it can also be helpful in the future.

It was already time for me to go to school, it sucked though because I knew news spreads fast. I really hate attention.

School went smoothly is what I would want to say but instead it was the opposite, people either stared at me or asked how I sprained my ankle. It was rather annoying but I just let it be, plus the good part was that I had a week off P.E. That's one good thing and another was that Rosalya introduced me to new people which were Violette, Alexy and Armin, Kim, Melody, and Iris. The most cheerful and easy to know person was Alexy, however, his twin brother Armin was more quiet and played too much video games. It was nice talking to these people that I befriended and they all seemed like easygoing people.

Sigh. 'If only he can be like that. He is so difficult sometimes.' I thought to myself.

School ended faster than I thought and I decided to go with Rosalya shopping, she said she wanted me to checkout her boyfriend's shop. I do have to say the shop had the most amazing clothes ever, I just loved Victorian clothing overall. I think I stayed looking at the clothes for more than an hour but I just couldn't resist at all.

"Hey come over here! I want to give you something." Rosalya said as she went inside the storage room.

"Here try this on. I've been wanting to give this to someone but I've never met anyone who it would fit until now." She said handing me an ivory dress.

It was so lovely I couldn't believe she wanted me to have this. It was knee length dress that had a few ruffles at the bottom, a corset which was a little revealing but lovely, and had lace sleeves. And with it some gorgeous ivory slippers that complimented the dress beautifully. I stared in awe at myself, it was like I was looking at someone else.

Rosalya smiled at me and said, "You look beautiful, any guy would fall for you right now. Oh, here sit down I'm going to do something."

I sat down in the chair and before I knew it she had grabbed my raven hair and begun brushing it, I sat there for a couple of minutes until she then told me I could look at myself in the mirror.

I had now a well done bun with some loose strands of hair on both sides of my cheeks. I just didn't believe it was me, this was just so lovely that words couldn't describe.

"She looks gorgeous doesn't she Leigh?" Rosalya said asking her boyfriend.

"Yeah, she sure is. That's my girl, designing wonderful dresses which make people look spectacular in them." He said complementing Rosalya.

"Oh you flirt, but of course my designing skills are out of this world. Isn't that right Myra?!" No one but me and Leigh make beautiful Victorian outfits." She said sounding cheeky.

"I can agree on that, but is it really ok that I keep it?"

"Of course, it fits beautifully on you. Plus it would be interesting if you know who sees you." Rosa said teasingly.
