Chapter 10: Day at the Beach (pt.2)

I left footprints on the sand, each one showing every step I took. I looked back and saw his footprints, it made me really happy and warm inside. His footprints and mine leaving prints in the same time, showing that I was walking beside him and it had marked something meaningful to me.

"So what do you want to eat?" He said looking at me.

"Huh...uh anything is fine actually. Are you fine eating a burger?" I said.

"You read my mind." He said as he smiled.

My face grew red and I looked away. He just looked so cute when he did that, it's not fair of him to catch me off guard.

"W-We should hurry up, the line is going to get long." I said as I sped up my pace.

"For a little girl you sure do like to eat."

"Well I'm just hungry that's all."

We waited in the line to order and sat down at a table waiting for our food. We talked for a bit and silence fell until our food came.

"Well lets dig in." I said grabbing my burger.

My growling ceased when I took a bite and ate like there was no tomorrow. Which I tend to do a lot when I eat, I'm a growing girl so I can't help it.

"It was so delicious~" I said wiping my face.

"You finished that in less than five minutes, are you sure you weren't starving?" Castiel said raising an eyebrow.

"Shut up. I just like food and I am a growing girl so, yeah." I said looking away.

"Well I'm not that surprised, you did eat like that as a lil' girl. I'm surprised you haven't entered in a food eating contest you glutton, keep eating like that and you're going to get chubby." He said bluntly.

"Stop bullying me you jerk! And I'm not a glutton, I already told you why! Go die Cassy!" I angrily said as I pouted.

"What's with that expression." Castiel said laughing as he held his stomach.

"Idiot." I whispered.

"What was that?"

"N-Nothing, let's go back." I said standing up.

"Okay your highness."

We started to walk back and in the way there we decided to buy some ice cream to beat the heat.

"This tastes so good when it's hot. Isn't that right Cassy." I said licking my ice cream.

"Yeah it does and it's refreshing. Oh and who gave you permission to call me Cassy?"

"U-Uh...W-Well it was to get even because you always tease me! So it's fair if I'm able to call you that, plus I always called you that since I knew you so it doesn't make a difference." I said defensively.

"That's your excuse."

"S-Shut up! It's not an excuse at all. Does it bother you if I call you that?" I said looking at him.

"Yes it does because it's annoying but you can say it if it's just to get even, however, you can't say in front of others." He said looking away.
