Chapter 12: Valentines Day

"Cassy, Valentines Day is tomorrow!"

"Geez, can you be any louder? I'm right here."

"You have to come with me to buy some cards."

"Do it yourself, you're old enough to go by yourself."

"Stop being a meany and come with me!" She said stomping her foot.

"You're such a bother."

"If you're nice to me, maybe I might just make you chocolates." She said pulling his hand.

She shopped for cards and candies to give out at school, she even bought a bouquet of roses for her teacher.

"All set for tomorrow! Well thank you Cassy for coming with me, I'll see you tomorrow!" She said as she ran to her house.

-Valentines Day-

"Hey have you seen Myra?"

"I saw her this morning."

"I see." He said as he left the class.

"Castiel! Here, these are for you!" A group of girls said as they handed him chocolates.

"I made sure I bought the best ones!" A girl said.

"I bought the ones with the richest flavors!" Another girl said.

"My mom made these, so they're better!" Said another.

Each one fighting over who had the better chocolates and didn't even notice that the boy had slipped away.

"Where can Myra be?" He asked himself.

He went outside and saw some girls snickering as they were holding a bag full of dirt.

"Hey where did you get that?" He asked the group of girls.

"Castiel! Oh, these. It's just trash don't worry about it. Anyways we have chocolates for you!" A girl said as they crowded around him.

He laughed and grabbed the girls chocolate. "You're right they are trash." He walked away and threw the chocolates in the trash.

He headed to the back of the school with a vexed face. There he then found a girl sitting on the bench with her knees to her face.

He sat beside her, maintaining the silence.

"Castiel." She said ever so softly.

"Hmm."

"I couldn't give you your chocolates." She said disappointed.

"It doesn't matter, I'm fine without any chocolates."

"It does matter!" She said looking at him with tears on her face.

He stayed quiet and just looked at her.

"These were suppose to be yours, I barely managed to save them but they're all ruined. I took so much time making these and yet it was all put into waste!" She cried.

He took the bag and opened it, he stared at the chocolates and then began eating them.

"What are you doing!? You can't eat those because they're ruined, y-you can't eat something as bad as that." She said wiping her tears.

"I decide what I want to eat, plus you made these...they're really good." He said.

"R-Really?" She said as she peered his face.

"I wouldn't lie."

Her face softened and gave him a wide smile. "Thank you for accepting them. I did my best so you would like them, next time they will be in a better condition."

"You don't have to go overboard."

"Of course I do, because it's you whom I'm giving it too!"

He looked away from her as his cheeks went pink. "Whatever."

She giggled at his reaction. "Happy Valentine's Day, Cassy!!" She said hugging him.
