SEXUAL-ISH CONTENT. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

December 12th:

Today was my last day of school before break...

"So" Liza looks at me. "Progress?"

"Was there a time limit?" I ask.

"Don't remember. But. Eh oh well..." She laughs.

"Progress? He kissed me like two weeks ago...but nothing since then...." I mumble.

"What about your secret admirer?" She sits across from me at the lunch table.

Ian and Luca sit down beside me.

"Well, he's been leaving me notes. Cute stuff. He says I get to meet him at the New Years party. But that's it. He should leave my one more note before break" i laugh.

"He's been doing this for weeks. He must really like you. You have no idea who it is?" Liza sighs.

"No, but he is sweet.... Maybe I would consider going on a date with him.." I laugh.

"No you wouldnt" Luca adds.

"Luca, you obviously know who it is!" I snap.

"Yes i do.. But I won't tell you" he leaves.

"NOT FAIR!" I spit.

"The whole world knows who it is, we've seen him go to your locker. But you just haven't" Liza adds.

"What?" I sit there stupidly.

".." She mumbles something and leave any sitting there beside Ian.

"Am I that dumb?" I turn to Ian.

"Yes you are" he smiles.

"Thanks...." I sigh. "But," I leans towards him. "You and I, we sh-"

"Ian we've got to go help mr. Leon" Luca grabs him and leaves.

"....." I sit there. "0% progress..."

We finally leave the school. It's great.

Instead of taking my car I've been catching rides with Ian. Trying to get closer to him.

I walked out of school and swung my blue bag over my back.

Some guy walked up to me. "Echo?"

His hood covered his face. "That's me." I smiled.

"It's me." He mumbled.

"Who's you?"

"Derek..." He sighed.

"DEREK!" I jumped and wrapped my arms around him. "DEREK!" I smiled.

He took his hood down. His face just like I remembered.

Ian walked up to me. "Who's this?" He asks passing me a helmet. YES we'd been taking is motorcycle.

"This is my stepbrother Derek" I smiled.

"Who's he?" Derek asked.

"This is my friend Ian" I smiled.

"Hmm... Where's Luca? You should hang out with people like him." He was ALWAYS saying that. He hated bad boys.

"Lucas somewhere. He's in his own world" I pat Derek's head. "Stop complaining. I'm wearing a helmet." I winked and put the helmet on.

Ian started his bike and I climbed on behind him wrapping my arms around his waist.

He drove off.
