"Sh-Sherlock?" Mrs. Hudson muttered groggily.
"It's okay Mrs. Hudson. I'm here. So is John. We've got you, no need to worry anymore."
"Hey, Mrs. Hudson. Do you feel alright now? What hurts?" John asked her gently.
"Oh...oh well I'm awake, so that must count for something, John. Thank you boys for helping me." She smiled weakly. Then she glanced over and noticed me standing there watchng the "touching" scene, some may feel.
"And who is your little friend, may I ask?" she asked Sherlock.
"Mrs. Hudson, this is my niece, Sadie Holmes. She's just like me."
"Yes, she is. Quite creepy actually, but also weird. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it myself." John added.
"Your niece? And I've never heard of her? Sherlock!" she scolded him slightly. "Hello dear! I'm Mrs. Hudson. Sherlock and John's housekee- landlady. Landlady. But these two are like sons to me, even with all the unusual cases and noises and experiments that go on in that flat!" she let out a small laugh.
"Actually Mrs. Hudson, I've just found out myself only hours ago. She came and saved us. She's the reason we are all okay right now. Including myself. She's Mycroft's daughter, from his long past marriage. He doesn't even know of her existence yet." Sherlock couldn't help but chuckle. I'm guessing this is because of the "sibling rivalry" thing that John mentioned between my father and uncle.
"Yes. I've heard much about you Mrs. Hudson. Pleasure." I said nodding my head.
"Um, Sherlock...we have an hour and a half left. WE NEED TO LEAVE. NOW." I reminded him anxiously.
"Oh, dear. What's happened?" Mrs. Hudson asked worriedly.
"Moriarty, Sherlock's largest rival, and the most dangerous man in the world, who is just as genius as Sherlock, but evil, is after us. He's the one that trapped you three. Anyways, he gave me only 48 hours to get you out or he is going to kill all of us. We only have an hour and a half left!" I explained.
"Yes, well, more walking, less talking. You can explain while we figure out how to get out of here." Sherlock told me.
"Yes, Sherlock. We have to figure this out, and quite fast if we want to live!" John exclaimed.
Sherlock wrapped one arm around Mrs. Hudsons waist to steady her. He led the way out of the dingy room and John and I followed.
As we went once again into the dimly lit corridor, Sherlock stopped dead in his tracks. Then he slowly told John to grab Mrs. Hudson. I couldn't see anything past Sherlock from his towering figure, until I inched my way past John and Mrs. Hudson and stood next to him. A look of horror mutually spread through all our faces. Then Sherlock's turned to anger.
"Hellooooo again, Baker Street gang! How wonderfulllll it is to see you. And alive and well." Moriarty sang in his irritatingly pitched voice. "Ahhhh Mrs. Hudson! You've finally come to. You know, if you're sick of being hurt because of them, you could always be MY housekeeper. You could actually be quite useful. I like pie, and I've seen some of yours. Delicious looking. What do you say?" he prompted her.
"Oh! Well I never! You should be ashamed of yourself Mister! I would never work for someone of your arrogance. You are a horrible person and should be ashamed! And I am NOT a housekeeper, especially not yours!" Mrs. Hudson cried.
"Aw. Too bad. You would have been valued HERE." he said. "Buuuuut now you're not useful anymore." Suddenly a red dot appeared on Mrs. Hudson's forehead.
"Let's see just how much Sherlock values his little pets, shall we?" He smiled is bittersweet, evil smile at us and signaled for the sniper to shoot.
