Lazy Days

It had been raining for a few days now. You and your boyfriend, Joe, had finally had a day off from work and meetings. But, since it was raining, you two couldn't go out and do anything.

"Let's just have a lazy day in, shall we?" Joe suggested.

"That sounds great." you replied. The two of you haven't just sat around and enjoyed each other's company in a long time.

Joe suggested that the two of you watch movies and cuddle on the couch. You agreed, and grabbed a few blankets and snacks, while Joe went to your shared bedroom to grab a couple of movies.

He grabbed two movies that you both love: "Grown Ups" and "Pitch Perfect."

Joe would never admit to loving "Pitch Perfect" to his buddies, but when you suggest watching it, he is the first on the couch to watch it. You both can quote the entire movie and sing all the parts of each song, since you have watched it so many times.

He put in "Pitch Perfect" first, of course. As the movie began, you both cuddled up to each other and waited for the movie to get started.

You two were quoting every line and singing every song. You loved it when Joe sang to/with you, despite the fact he never wants to sing.

As the movie finished, you were starting to feel a little sleepy. You were trying to keep your eyes open so you could start the next movie.

"Y/N, love, do you want to go take a nap?" Joe asked, after he noticed how tired you were becoming.

"Only if you're okay with it." you replied.

"Of course. Anytime I can snuggle and cuddle with you, I'm always up for it." Joe said cheekily, with a smirk on his face.

"Well, let's go then, cheeky boy." you said playfully.

He held out his hand for you to grab, which you did. He then led you to your shared bedroom, and led you to the bed. You both changed into something comfortable: you wearing one of his t-shirts and your underwear, and him just wearing joggers.

You both climbed into bed, and snuggled up together to get warm.

"I love you, Y/N." Joe said, whilst rubbing your back, helping you fall asleep.

"I love you too, Joe." you told him, as you began to drift into slumber.

You spent the rest of the day in bed, napping, talking, and napping some more. Oh how you loved lazy days with your wonderful boyfriend, Joe.
