When Joe is in the process of creating a video for his channel, he will ask you to talk about all the videos that you've watched recently. This gives him some inspiration on what kind of video to create next, especially since it will revolve around the kind of videos that you watch. He will also read the comments on his videos, as well as his friends videos, to see what the viewers want to see. After much time of searching and writing, he will call you back into the room and ask your opinion, since your opinion matters the most to him. He will ask what you would fix, and he will give you the "script" to edit and make it better. He loves that you are a part of the video making process.
