I shrugged his hand off my shoulder and stared confusingly. What does he mean he's leaving? He can't leave when something big is about to happen. We needed his help! He and Vincent knew more than us and they have to help us train and give us information.
I shook my head, whispering "No, no, no." Mr. Naz stared blankly at me, but I knew something was up. "You can't leave, Mr. Naz. We need you to stop Lupo, stop him from testing Chase and I. You can save us."
His eyes turned bright blue and he looked away. "I'm just doing God's work. He wanted me to tell you what is going to happen."
I scoffed. "That's it? You're gonna leave like it's never gonna happen? You're not going to stay and fight for us, fight for being normal?"
Mr. Naz sighed and put two fingers on top of my head. I stared weirdly at me and he did the same thing. He pulled away and took a step back. "Why haven't you fainted?"
I opened my mouth to say something when something cracked in my body. I fell on my knees and held my stomach. Denis, Serge, and Chase quickly rushed over to me.
"Eddie, what's wrong?" Denis asked worridely. Black blood spilled out of my mouth and I gasped, yearning for air. Denis dropped to his knees and put his arms around my waist. "What's going on?! Mr. Naz help him!"
Denis put my head on his shoulder and I saw Mr. Naz staring, shockingly and confusingly at me. I moved my head so I could have my mouth near his neck. Denis ran his fingers through my hair and I almost closed my eyes when a wonderful odor hit my nostrils. I breathed in deeply and moved closer to it. I wrapped my arms around Denis and pulled his neck close to my nose and my mouth.
"E-Eddie w-what are you doing?" He stuttered.
I opened my mouth and let my teeth move softly on his soft, clear skin. His blood pumping out of fear. I felt something shifted in my mind and that's when I snapped. I growled and quickly bit his neck. I held the back of his neck and sucked on his sweet blood. I let out a moan and felt two hands on my wrist. They roughly pulled me away and I kicked, growled, and groaned. I wanted more. I needed more.
"W-what the fuck?" Clayton screamed.
Chase was shaking violently; his head bowed, not showing his face. Clayton put his hand out so Chase could grabbed it.
"Chase, are you okay?" He asked. Chase stopped shaking and I felt a small smirk slip on my lips.
"Hybrid," I whispered.
Chase snapped his head back and screamed. He pounced on Clayton, his teeth sinking into his neck. Chase moaned and held the back of his head. All I could do was struggle and whine. I wanted to have some! Vincent grabbed Chase and pulled him away from Clayton who stood up quickly and held his neck. I let my eyes moved towards the angel who was watching the scene.
"This is what you're waiting for, I can make this decision on my own if you please. Break to your knees, where you belong, where you belong," I sang.
Mr. Naz placed two fingers on my forehead and my smirked widen. He knew nothing was going to happen. Why even try?
"If you give up on me, then I will give up on everything."
His eyes turned blank, nothing but clear bright blue eyes. I hit a nerve.
"Get out of him, lost soul," Mr. naz growled.
I snapped my head to the right to see Serge hit a wall. He slided down and groaned, grabbing his head. I looked back at the angel and screamed in his ear, "Take my hand, show me the way, we are the children that fell from grace!"
Mr. Naz put his head back and bright light shot from his chest. He slowly disappered with the light and I covered my eyes, shadowing the light. When it was over, I turned around to see Vincent breathing hard, Chase being held by Clayton and Serge rubbing the back of his head.
"This is war."
