AUTHOR NOTES: I did not edit this chapter, sadly. I restarted my sister's laptop because it was going slow. Now, I have to install Microsoft Office, the old one, because that's the only thing I use. This chapter is dedicated to crowlaid because she made an awesome cover! Enjoy!

I fluttered my eyes opened to see a blurry figure above me. I parted my lips to escape a groan, and I tried to move my fingers but they wouldn't move. I was paralyzed. I shook my head a little bit but a pounding started to come. Where was I? Why wasn't my eyesight coming?

I blinked a few times and then I saw the figure clearly. He smiled as the black liquid started to pour out of his mouth. I opened my mouth and screamed. I felt the adrenaline rushed into my body. It felt good to feel again. I crawled away from him but he would get closer and closer. My back hit a wall and I pressed myself as far as I could go. His smiled turned into a sick smirk. In a blink of eye. he grabbed my neck and squeezed. I screamed again and tried reaching for my dad's knife.

Lochlan pulled my face to his and stared into my eyes. They held greed and menace that I was terrified for my life.

"We just wanted to be free," he whispered.

He put his lips to mine and I tasted the bittersweet and rubbery taste. I shut my eyes so I could block out him and my mind. I did not want this. I did not want the black liquid. Lochlan grabbed my chin and pulled it down roughly, the taste fully on my tongue. I struggled, trying to push him away and spit out of the black liquid but the black liquid tasted so freaking good that it gave me goosebumps. Unconsciously, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. All of this was wrong. So why was I doing this?

I moved my arm and felt the floor, trying to find the thing I was looking for. Lochlan pulled me closer, the black liquid going down my throat. He wasn't kissing me. He was shoving his mouth into mine and it was fucking disgusting. I smiled when I felt the thing I was looking for. Lochlan smirked and pulled away.

"You finally gave in, Eddie. I'm proud of you." He patted my head, twirling a stray of my hair. My chest was moving back and forth slowly, my mouth felt swollen and wet, and I wanted to throw up endlessly. I gave him a faint smile.

"Yeah," I stabbed him on his shoulder blade. "I'm proud of myself too."

My smiled dropped when he didn't move a muscle. He didn't even groan in pain. He looked at his shoulder blade and pulled the knife out. He played with the knife in his hand and gave me a crooked smile.

"I'm stronger now. You can't hurt me anymore. But you," he pointed the knife at me. The knife that my dad gave me. The knife that was now being held by a freak. "I can hurt you how ever I want. You will become perfect unlike Chase."

"I don't want to be perfect, you fucking hybrid!"

His crooked mile dropped and in a quick move, he slit my throat. I grabbed my throat, chocking and gagging on my own blood. My vision was getting blurry and dark.

"You're so LUCKY I'm not here. I will make you what's mine, Eddie. Watch out for your freak family for me, k?" he said loudly. He patted my knee before getting up. I bumped my head on the wall and felt myself let go. I was going to die and Chase, Denis, Serge- no one could save me. "Don't give up too soon. It wouldn't be fun for me, now would it?"

The last thing I heard was Lochlan's evil laugh.

I gasped, sitting up quickly. I put my hand to my chest and looked around. Crappy quotes, blank walls staring back at me, and Chase sleeping on the floor, Serge sleeping on a chair but his head back, snoring loudly, and Denis biting his thumb nail worriedly. I was either in the cabin or I was I the nurses office. Denis moved his head up, his eyes staring worriedly but relief with them. He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my neck.

"I've been fucking worried about you! When I saw your head hit the sink, my heart dropped. Chase had to calm me down when I saw black blood and regular blood. Eddie, tell me what's going on," he said quickly and shakily.

I touched the side of my head and winced when I felt a sting. So that's the thing I hit before I got knocked out. I looked at Denis and he was a mess. His hair was messy, it looked like he ran too many times, his eyes looked darker, and his clothes were wrinkled.

"Denis..." I whispered. He smiled but I didn't have the energy to smile back. "How long was I gone?"

He bit his lips and sighed. "A few hours. We wanted to take you to the cabin but Serge suggested here." I glanced at Serge and rolled my eyes. Of course the mutt wanted to take me here. I could've stayed home and be by myself.

"Where's the nurse?" I asked.

"About that...this is an old nurse office. Chase stole some medicine and patches from the nurses office that we use now," he said, blushing afterwards.

"What did you do?"

"I stayed. I wanted to be the first one to see you awake."

My heart felt fuzzy and my knees almost went weak. He put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer to him, our face close. "I know this is a bad time, but I really like you and I want you to go on a date with me." My eyes trailed to his lips and I smiled.

"You're gonna have to ask me in a better way than that," I said looking back at his eyes.

Denis eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. His placed his hand on my cheek and opened to say something when's voice spoke up.

"What the hell are you doing?" We turned our heads to see Serge glaring at us while he got up.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm trying to talk to Eddie," Denis snapped.

Serge growled and walked towards us. "Don't touch him."

Serge pulled Denis' hand away from my cheek. "I can touch him if I want."

"No you can't!" I roared.

They looked at me with wide eyes. I don't need this right now. I needed to figure out what the hell was wrong with me and how I could stop these nightmares. "Look, something is wrong with me and I need this to stop. If you two can't get it together then get the fuck out!"

They stood silent and nodded their heads. I sighed and saw Chase stirred in his sleep. He blinked a few times, stretching and yawning afterwards. He looked at me and I gave him a small smile.

"Hey Chazz," I said. He jumped out of his chair and hugged me tightly. I stumble back a little bit before hugging him back. I never knew he would miss so much. I looked at Denis and Serge and they stood there awkwardly.

"I think it's time to go," Serge said, breaking the silence. I nodded and let Chase and Serge walk out of the nurses office and then it was Denis and I. Chase and Serge were walking ahead of us as Denis and I stayed behind them.

"I like it when you're mad," Denis said innocently.

I rolled my eyes and flushed. "Shut up. I get mad all the time. Werewolves get on my damn nerves."

"I know."

We walked out of the school and I looked around outside. It was snowing lightly, the oranges leaves now covered by the white snow. Kids started to come out of their houses and enjoyed the cold but nice weather. I hugged myself and saw Chase and Serge with their mouth opened, snow falling into their mouth. Goosebumps started to appear on my arms. Denis must have seen me shaking because he hugged my waist from behind and put his chin on my shoulder blade.

"How about that date?" He whispered.

I turned my head so I could look into his brown eyes.  "Fine. You win."

The goose bumps disappeared.
