Flashback to when you met Fawn...
Your POV:

Halloween. Me and Adrienette, my best friend, were having a Halloween party, with just the two of us because we honestly had no other friends. Adrienette probably would have more friends than just me if she wasn't my friend. I'm the loser of the town.

We sat in the library, in our costumes. Adrienette was dressed up like some YouTuber, and I was dressed up like an angel.

No one else was there except the librarian. Everyone else was at home for Halloween, or out trick or treating. The only reason me and Adrienette were having our Halloween party here was because the orphanage wouldn't let me go trick or treating. They said that I could go to the library if I wanted, but I couldn't trick or treat, or go hang out at Adrienette's house.

I sighed, popping my chin up with my hand, and setting my elbow against the table that we sat at in the little cafe in the library.

Adrienette took a bite of one of the orange frosting cupcakes we bought, deep into thought.

"I'm sorry I ruined your Halloween, Adrienette. You can go trick or treating if you want," I said.

"You didn't ruin my Halloween. I don't care about trick or treating. I just want to be with my best friend," Adrienette said.

I smiled. "Thanks, Adrienette."

Then, we chatted for a bit, talking about school, tv shows, etc. It was fun. We also started playing Pictionary, which was like charades, but you had to draw instead of acting it out.

We actually turned our lame party into one of the most fun days of our lives.

Then, with the librarian's permission, we played hide and seek, since no one else was there.

It was my turn to hide. I ran up the stairs to the second floor of the library, eager to get to my favorite hiding spot, which was in a little book that barely anyone knew about. You had to push the roll away bookshelf door to get to it. It wasn't a secret or anything. In fact, there was a sign there that said that you could go in it, and everyone was welcome. People just never read the sign, and they never noticed the wheels at the bottom of the bookshelf.

I got to the bookshelf, and cracked it open. I slipped in, rolling the bookshelf back behind me.

Turning around, I faced the inside of the nook.

I gasped, seeing someone in the nook with me.

There was a slim, tall girl sitting on the window seat. She had dirty blonde hair and blue gray eyes that were lost into the large book she was reading. She had a cute pair of dark black glasses that all the hipsters and nerds wore. I actually liked her glasses.

Besides that, she was wearing black leggings and a long pastel pink shirt with white lace at the bottom. The shirt read "Unicorns are real" in white lettering, and she was wearing black converse. She wrapped herself up with the white cardigan she was wearing.

"Sorry," I mumbled, scrambling around, about to leave the nook.

The girl looked up. She did not look mad, but instead, frightened. "No, it's f-fine. Sorry, I'll leave," she stuttered. She jumped to her feet, and began to scurry to the bookshelf door, but tripped on air in the process.

The girl landed on the ground. She scrambled around, trying to find her glasses, which had fallen off in the process.

I knelt down, looking for them with her. "No, why are you leaving? This is a library. You're meant to read in it. If you want to read in silence, I will be willing to leave," I said.

Finally, I found her glasses. I handed them to her.

"T-Thanks. Y-You shouldn't be t-talking to me, though," the girl said.

"Why?" I asked. I raised my eyebrow in question, helping the girl to her feet.

"D-Do you not know who I a-am?" She asked. She pushed up her glasses.

"No, I don't. What's your name? My name is Y/N," I said. I put my hand out for her to shake.

The girl looked down at my hand in shock. "I'm the clumsy nerd, Fawn. I-I'm new here, b-but I've already built myself a r-reputation here in the past week. Y-You don't want to be seen with me, or y-you'll go to the lowest class of society, like me," Fawn whispered.

"I don't mind. I think that you seem nice and that's all that matters. Fawn is a beautiful name. Nice to meet you. My name is Y/N. I'm the biggest loser in town," I said. I took Fawn's small hand, shaking it.

Fawn blushed, smiling genuinely. "T-Thanks! Nice to meet you too. I guess we can both be in the lowest class of society together?"

I smiled. "Yeah! It's fun to be in the lowest class! Come on, you should meet my friend, Adrienette! We're having a mini Halloween party, and you can join if you want! We're playing hide and go seek!"

"R-Really?" Fawn asked. Fawn's name described herself. She was sweet, shy, kind, yet nervous.

"Yes, really!" I pulled Fawn out of the room, and we found Adrienette.

By the end of the night, me, Adrienette, and Fawn were all best friends. Fawn started to open up a little bit. We found out that she loves to read and write. She can also speak Latin, and she loves math. She is quiet at first, but really loud once you get to know her.

"Okay, girls, I have to lock up the library now. You guys should be heading home," the librarian said.

I slightly frowned. I couldn't believe that the night was already over.

"Okay, Mrs. Lentay, thanks for everything,"  I said.

We all began to pack our stuff as Mrs. Lentay, the librarian walked away.

"We need a name, for our group," Adrienette said, placing her music book in her bag.

There was a moment of silence. We were all deep in thought.

"I have an idea. What about we call ourselves, the outcasts?" I asked.

Adrienette and Fawn stopped in their tracks, their mouths dropping.

"Brilliant!" Fawn exclaimed, laughing.

"The "outcasts", I like it!" Adrienette said.

Third point POV:

The girls gave high fives to each other, walking out the door, back to their homes.

Y/N smiled as she walked away from the library, down the road to the orphanage.

That was the day that the outcasts started their friendship. Who would've guessed that they would still be friends over ten years later?
