;-; Sorry that it took so long to update again. I was trying to work out all of the little plot holes.
XD There's probably going to end up being a plot hole. This is getting so complex. I need to make a timeline and stuff.

3rd Person POV:Cassiel announced who Travis' guardian angel was to be. All eyes went on the angel who was chosen.
This angel was different from the others. She had gigantic black wings, ones that were extremely powerful, despite her only being seven years old.
Her were the largest wings that any recorded angel her age ever had. However, almost all of the other angels saw her as evil, since she had black wings, which usually only dark or fallen angels had.
The angel child, who had the nickname of "Winged Demon", sat there with her eyes wide, tears forming in the corners of them. It was at that moment that the child knew that she was the most hated angel in that room. People wanted her dead.
"Perfect. A winged demon is guarding a demon. That's a perfect match!" Dylan chided beside her.
"Why can't she become his new guardian angel sooner? I want her gone, and I want her dead. She doesn't belong here," Tyrone said.
Tyrone's friend responded by saying, "I know right! She's probably even worse than the boy she'll end up protecting."
The taunts just continued. All eyes had moved from Travis to the girl, who was currently fighting back tears.
"She's a monster."
"She's wicked."
"She'll fail at protecting him. She fails at everything."
"Why hasn't the council banished her yet?"
"Thank goodness she was chosen."
"Go back home where you belong! In other words, go to h*ll!"
"No wonder your parents abandoned you as a child. You're a disgrace!"
"HAHA!!! You'll never earn your halo!!"
"We all know that she's going to end up being a fallen angel."
"Her wings show how pure her heart is."
"Hey, winged demon girl! You should chop off your wings and die if you know what's good for you," the angel sitting beside her whispered in her ear.
The young angel had heard it all. She heard every last one of their words. Tears began to pour down her face, and she tucked her legs into her chest, sobbing into them. She used her wings to shield herself, and create her own sort of cave.
"At least I'll get away from all of this. At least I'll have a chance to prove myself a true pure hearted angel, and maybe even earn my halo," the angel thought to herself as she sniffled.
"Will you please come to the stage?" Cassiel asked.
The black winged angel used all of her courage to stand up and walk to the stage. Her wings dragged on the floor behind her, like a large cape. Her wings looked so dark in contrast of her short snow white dress.
Even though Travis could not speak, and would not remember all of this afterwards, the young angel decided to say a few words to him as she walked up on stage.
"I look forward to guarding you, Travis, once you turn 18. I promise to protect you with my life. You won't ever see me, because I'll be invisible on Earth when I'm in my angel form, or whenever I'm guarding you, but I just want you to know that. I'll watch over you," the angel said softly. The tears slowly fell down her cheeks as she smiled brightly. It had always been her dream to be a guardian angel, and even if she was the guardian of the devil's son, she didn't mind too much. She was going to protect him, even if it got her killed. She wanted to prove that she wasn't what everyone had said about her; that she wasn't to be a fallen angel.
She wasn't even worried about the training ahead, in which she would have to spend many hours a day on Earth to get used to being on Earth.
The angel looked forward to the future. In some weird way, she felt like she was a lot alike the boy she was protecting. Travis himself was thought to be evil, but he had a pure heart.
They were both misunderstood.
Then, the angel watched as Cassiel cast a spell on Travis, knocking him out and erasing his memory of what had happened. Then, Travis disappeared, and that was the last she saw of him until her job as his guardian angel began eight years later.
(Note: All of this is a flashback that Travis is having in his dream. Now, the flashback is over, and this is just eight years after what happened in his flashback.)
~Eight years later~
Knock. Knock. Knock.
By the age of 15, the winged angel had gained another common nickname. Now, most people called her "The Black Rose", since black roses were mostly seen as a sign of evil or impurity.
The Black Rose walked to the front door of her house, which was on Glory street in the North section of Heaven. The Black Rose thought that the visitor at her door was most likely another angel with a fake secret admirers letter for her, or one of her neighbors asking her to move away. However, she still opened her door, hoping that maybe someone would want to actually talk with her about something other than her supposed "wickedness".
Standing before her was Cassiel, grinning. Cassiel was probably the only angel in town who didn't fear the Black Rose, and that was only because he had the purest heart in town. She wondered why he was here, because Cassiel was a member of the council, and would only come if he had news.
"Good morning!" Cassiel said cheerily. He moved a strand of his brown hair back. "How are you today?"
A small smile appeared on The Black Rose's face. "I'm doing great. Thank you, Cassiel," she said, lying. "How are you?"
"You're welcome! I'm great too. I was just stopping by to talk to you about the guardian angel arrangement with Travis Valcrum," Cassiel said. "May I come in?"
The Black Rose nodded, happy to be in such good company. She would probably spend more time with him, but he was busy 24-7, so she only saw him every once in a while. She used to train with him every day since the day she was chosen, up until last year. We weren't too close, but I saw him as some sort of teammate, or ally.
The Black Rose closed the door behind Cassiel, and led him to a floating table, with some chairs. She was quite tired from training, but she still wanted to discuss everything with Cassiel.
