The rays of sunshine sprayed onto Janasvi's face and she was slowly pulled out of slumber. She only realized what had happened the previous night when she realized that she was naked under the sheets. She blushed as she recalled the previous night. It was her first time and it was perfect. She couldn't have expected it to be better. She was so grateful that Rikhil had been so understanding, caring and gentle. It all just seemed so unreal but yet so real. She was in love, after all. And now, all she wished to do was be with him forever.
Her brows furrowed as she recalled what the psychic had said.
"Hey, what happened?" She was brought out of her reverie by the concern etched in Rikhil soft and soothing voice.
"What?"
"What's worrying you?"
"Nothing."
"Jaan, these little creases don't appear just like that. They take you away from me. That's why I want to keep them away from you." He rubbed the spot between her brows.
"Rikhil.." She smiled and hugged him tighter.
"Yeah... You know I've been watching you for a while. First you were blushing scarlet, then you were really happy, peaceful."
Janasvi's cheeks went completely red.
"But then something started worrying you and your brows furrowed. So tell me what's bothering you."
"Rikhil, will you ever leave me?"
"Jaan, ask your heart this question, not me. Because, my answer will never change. I'm never going to leave you."
"But what if I do something horrible." She sat up. "What if I do something through which I lose all respect from your eyes. If I do something so heinous that you start loathing me."
"Janasvi, where is all this coming from?"
"Rikhil, just answer my question. Please."
Rikhil sat up too.
"Well, respect is another thing and love is another. If there is ever such a situation, I will probably try to do what I think is in your best interest. Even if it means leaving you. But there is one thing I can sincerely promise you, 'I will never stop loving you.' My day begins with you and ends with you. My day will always begin with you and always end with you."
He hugs her tight and she returns it but as much as she wanted to believe that he wouldn't leave her, something inside her, just wouldn't calm down.
Minutes passed and they remained in each other's arms.
"We should take a shower" Rikhil whispered.
"Okay, you go first."
"What do you mean 'you go first'? I meant we take a shower together."
"Uh uh. Nope. I'm not even getting out from under the sheets until you look away."
"Oh Really?" He started tickling her.
"Ree... Stop. Ree..." She gasped.
When he finally stopped, she was gasping for air and still giggling.
