Present day:

I was brought out of my reverie by the sound of my phone's ringtone. I placed the contents in my hand back into the box and strode over to my phone. I picked it up from the bedside table and sat on the bed.

"Hello."

"Hello mommy," a cute bubbly voice said.

The cute little voice belonged to my cute 6 year old Daughter Rikhvi.

"Hey, how's my little girl?"

"Good, how are you mommy?"

"How can I be when my princess is not with me?" I teased.

"Aww Mommy. Daddy said we'll be home in 2 hrs."

"Okay. Tell him I'm waiting."

"Okay Mommy. Bye bye."

"Bye bye," I heard Adele, my 10 year old, say simultaneously with her father.

I put the phone back to its place and entered the bathroom for a nice hot shower. It was eight thirty when I walked out, exactly half an hour spent in the bathroom. I got dressed and settled by my box of treasures once again. I had an hour and a half before the apartment would be filled with little monsters running about.

I lifted an empty anti depressant bottle and smiled, my memory flicking to an important incident of in my life.
