Personality: Hikaru is a very bubbly guy for the most part. He is also insecure and sensitive about really talking about his own feelings. He'll talk all day with you and want to help but often laughs off help from others. Hikaru rarely gets angry and when he does voice his feelings, it's a build up of things that have been bothering him for some time. He is a very loyal friend and is childish as well. Hikaru also gets embarrassed rather easily.

Background: Hikaru Kyosuke was born into a well known wealthy family in Kyoto, Japan. His parents and siblings were very cold to him due to the fact he could never act like the proper and innovative son/brother they expected. In all honesty, Hikaru Kyosuke was too vibrant and energetic for them. He was smart but he wasn't business savvy enough or a genius type. Due to this, Hikaru grew up feeling invisible and his family was verbally abusive until he met Saikyo when he was nine. Saikyo was everything he wasn't, loud, super tall, didn't care about much and unconsciously he sort of became completely dependent on him.
Facts:
Hikaru use to stutter a lot growing up, it still affects him when he's nervous.
Hikaru had a crush Misa the day they met.
Hikaru has anxiety.
He and Saikyo had a falling out when Saikyo was ignoring him and Saikyo came out as a trans male to him, before that point he always considered Saikyo to be female.
He was highly upset about it but only because Saikyo pushed him out, he does respect his pronouns.
Hikaru is very much in the closet, he is not sure of his sexuality other than the fact he does have romantic feelings for Saikyo.
