Everything from a conversation in ITALIC is actually said in German.

The jetlag is always the worst thing of the trip. That and the fact that I can't drive my motorcycle in the first 48 hours to avoid collisions due to fatigue. I haul a cab on the busiest place at the airport and I pull my stuff in the trunk.

"Where to, Miss?" The driver asks and I answer with the address to mom's apartment.

It's downtown, and mom only uses it when she's in town for her work. It's spacious and a blast to get out of town. We've always gone on trips to Berlin here, attending consulate parties.

"We're here, Miss." the driver announces and I look outside.

The sturdy brick building looks the same like last year. It makes me excited to know that I'll be spending time out here. I'm like a Pavlov dog, conditioned to be excited when in Berlin.

"Could you please wait here? I'll be right back." I ask the driver, "You can leave the meter running."

The man nods and I quickly go up to put my bags there. The smell of lavender greets me as I open the door. The white of the walls reflects the light clearly while the black furniture clashes with it. I put my bags in my bedroom and close the door behind me.

I exit the building and get back to the cab. The driver puts out his cigarette and get in the cab after opening the door for me.

"Where to now, Miss?" He asks.

I give him the address Sam has given me and he drives off. My eyelids are getting heavy while the buildings pass by. I wouldn't hurt to close my eyes for a few minutes, right?

"Miss? We have arrived to the destination." The voice of the driver sounds.

I open my eyes and see a parking lot on the left side. I must've fallen asleep after all. I give the driver the amount of money I owed him and step out. Now I only have to find those bastards in this lot.

I go up the floors until I hear voices erupt from the space. They probably won't hear me come closer. I walk towards them as I recognize my idols.

Damn, girl. Don't let your ovaries get the best of you, and most definitely. Don't fangirl when they talk to you.

"I hope I'm not too late." I speak up, grinning when Sam jumps scared, "Major jetlag aka super tired!"

"Who are you?" Hawkeye squints at me as I put my hand on Sam's shoulder.

"You didn't tell your friends about me, Sammy?" I pout, "Now I'm hurt."

"Who is she, Sam?" The Captain asks like I'm not even there.

"This is Addison Jones. She's my former neighbor." Sam coughs, "What are you doing here, Addy?"

"I'm here to help." I say, but it comes out as a squeal.

"I thought you rather work alone?"

"If I want to contribute, I will. No one is holding me down, Sammy."

"I know you!" A man I don't immediately recognize exclaims, "You're Mistressia! You protect Harlem in New York, don't you?"

"In all my glory." I grin and make a small courtesy.

"What are your powers?" Hawkeye asks.

"You'll see." I smirk.

"She's powerful though." Sam intervenes, "Trust me."

"If you say so." The Captain says.

"Do you guys have a place to sleep?" I ask the whole group, "Because my mom's apartment is spacious enough for all of us to fit in there."

"Yeah!" Sam cheers, "It's a really cool apartment, guys."

"Let's go then." Scarlet Witch speaks up, "I don't want to stay in open air too long."

"Alright then." I smile at her, "Which car should I get in?"

"You go in the van." Sam says, "I know the way."

"Aye aye, Sammy." I walk to the van's car door, "I would say Captain, but we all know that only one of us here deserves that title."

I wink to Captain America as I climb into the front seat of the van. The others take a little longer to get in the cars, but I don't mind. I'm exhausted. I close my eyes as Hawkeye starts the van.

"What way?" He asks.

"I put it in the GPS." I yawn, "Just follow the directions."

He drives off, causing the superheroes in the back to start a conversation. I doze off, only to get snapped out of my fictive reality again.

"Why is your suit grey anyway?" The man, which I now know is Ant-Man, asks me.

"It was white, but mom washed it with the black laundry." I shrug.

They all laugh, but I can't. The exhaustion has caused me to lift my control over my power. It's hard to smile when almost everyone in the van feels sad or depressed. I focus on the person with the lowest serotonin and dopamine hormone level, which surprisingly is Scarlet Witch. I roll my eyes and level them up to the happy emotions. I turn around and see her surprised face.

"How did you do that?" She asks perplexed.

"That's my power." I grin, "Manipulating other people's feelings. Well, one of my powers. Oh, turn right in here." I say to Hawkeye and he does so, "There's a parking lot underneath the building."

He drives into the lot after entering the code and stops where my mom's car normally stands. And next to that, my beautiful Harley Davidson is shining in the corner of my eye. I quickly get out the van and pat my motorcycle.

"Soon, baby." I whisper before turning to the others, "What?"

"You just had to do that." Ant-Man laughs.

"Hey, don't disrespect my babies. I've worked hard on them."

I gesture them to follow me into the building to the 5th floor, which is the highest. I let them in the apartment and they wander around, taking everything in.

"How can you afford this?" Ant-Man asks again.

He's definitely too curious about everything.

"My mom is a Russian diplomat. She often had to come here to Berlin when I was younger and buying an apartment was cheaper than staying in a hotel." I explain as a knock sounds.

I open the door for the rest of Team Cap and let them in. They do the same as the others while Sam stops next to me.

"They're like you when we visited that store with wall-high shelves full of candy." He comments.

I roll my eyes and speak up so everyone hears, "Girls, so just me and Wanda, sleep in that room aka my personal room. You guys can divide yourselves between my mom's room and the living room. You're welcome."

I walk to my room, a little surprised to already find Wanda in there.

"It looked obvious." She says as I plump down on the bed, "Your bags are standing here."

"Great minds think alike." I smile at her.

She still radiates depression and sadness off of her, mixed with shame, but somewhere between all that I see a bit of hope too.

"You know, you don't have to blame yourself for what happened. You saved a lot more people than there were casualties." I say, "Everyone makes mistakes in the beginning. Yours were just viewed all over the world."

"What mistakes did you make?"

"Oh! Let me see." I grin, "Misjudgment in a situation, going in alone, going to a fight unprepared, falling a lot, wrong turn." I lay down to sleep, "But that's the beautiful thing about mistakes. You learn and you grow."
