Jacqueline's POV:

As I was busy serving from tables to tables, out of nowhere, a crying Corinne stormed out. I don't know what to do to stopped her from walking out of the door and from crying. Something went down inside the office, otherwise who'd believe a girl like her would cry like that. She looked strong and confident and that's how people seemed to picture her, always. Because from the faces of the staffs and their whispers, I could grasped that she's never been seen like this. Then what ticked her off? Suddenly I put down the tray I was holding and ran after her. She almost was gonna drive away, when I shouted

"Corinne! Wait!"

She abruptly stopped fumbling with the keys and looked up to me with a tearful-hurting eyes. It must be a terrible thing which happen in there. Then I spoke again,

"What happen in there? I know your feelings are hurting and you're not fine, I get that. But you can also share anything to me."

I suggest her to open up to me but she just shook her head. And she started crying. I don't know what to do, except to awkwardly stand there and touch her head, just to help her to soothe down a little and to let her know that there's still someone she can rely to. We kept on in that position for some minutes until she stopped crying.

"Jacqueline, you have to go in now. Otherwise you might as well get fired too."

"What?! You're being fired? By that boss of him? I'm gonna kill him. I'll kill him now! Right away!"

I almost fled away from her grasped. How can he just fire her when all she does was bringing him his special coffee every morning? And why is she smiling right now?

"Why are you smiling? You just got fired. Aren't you gonna claimed what's yours? You have all the rights as a staff to complaint against him. You did nothing wrong, right?"

"Oh darling! You are sexy when you are angry."

I grunted.

"Where did you get that pickup lines from? And why aren't you answering me?"

"I quit the job. Now, go in before he sends someone's out just to call you. That'd be embarrassing. I'll see you later and let you know what happen in there. Go go!"

"What? You're not embarrass to what you did and you think it'll be embarrassing for me? How typical of you. I'll see you later then."

She's smiling fully by now. I don't know what's running through her mind, but I strongly suspect it to be something mischievous.

"Will you be fine though?"

I asked her and she smiled and nodded at the same time. She's already started the engine and I step back and wave her off. I quickly darted back inside the café. Everyone were busy minding their own businesses. So I walked in awkwardly and filled in.

The whole day, I could never get to catch even a single glimpse of my boss. And I can't wait to get the day over with it.

I wanted to pee so I did my business at the washroom. I check myself in the mirror and I don't look too bad even though my physical being is tired as hell.

As soon as I open the door, all of the staffs were searching for something or maybe someone. Clearly they're on a search party and among them was my boss standing furiously ordering everyone around him. Even some of the customers started to noticed due to lack of staff service.
