"And once the storm is over, you won't remember how you made it through,  how you managed to survive. You won't even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about."

Jacqueline's P.O.V:

"Jacqueline! Are you ready to go?"

I could hear Bobby screaming on his way and his sound of footsteps getting louder. I groan after peeping at my clock. I will be late again if I don't wake up now.

"Good lord! You are late again, Jacqueline Miller! I hope you're not making a habit out of it. Get up and freshen up quickly."

"Geez, you're ruining my morning! I won't take long, I'll be done soon."

"Breakfast in five minutes. I don't wanna be late today."

"Yes sire!"

I grabbed my needs and rushed inside the bathroom. I tried to finished it as fast as possible.

"Jacqueline!"

"Yes! I'm coming I'm done."
Bobby seems disturb and restless. I can't irritate him even more so.
I ran out and chucked down the sandwich which was laid on the plate and drank the fruit juice.

"Let's go." I said to the not-so-happy Bobby and walked out of the room.

He's mumbling to himself for the past few minutes but I couldn't quite grasped what's it been about.

"Bobby, is something the matter?"

"Yes and that's why we need to hurry. Some unwelcome customers are there inside the cafe and I want them gone. I'll let them know who the boss is."

"Okay. Who are they? How many of them?"

"You'll see for yourself, don't worry."

Just as we parked our car, Bobby ran inside the cafe while I followed behind him curiously.

"Knowlden, I told you not to be here with her. And you! Who gave you permission to barge in and work here like it's yours? Didn't you said you quit?"

My eyes almost bulges out from what's unraveling in front of me. What happen to the easygoing Boss? He's fuming.

"Take a chill pill, Crawford. I quit but you never fired me so I came back having a second thought about all the ordeals. The least I deserved is for you to be so ungrateful and shout at me like that. I'm not your verbal punching bag so quit all of it and lets act like an actual adult. Right, Dennis?"

"Yeah. I see no problem with that. And you Crawford, you were the one whining about how much you missed her coffee or were you trying to convey otherwise? A particular person?"

Corrine winked at me and she's actually serving tables. Dennis on the other hand was calm and collected and all his peirching eyes on me.

I averted my eyes instantly.
Bobby grabbed Corrine's hand and yanked her inside his office and she not for once resisted.

In suit, Dennis pulled me outside the cafe.

"Stop. What are you doing?"
I tried yanking my hands but he hold on too tight they might get bruised.
