PJ's P.O.V.

Phil and I raced upstairs, laughing the entire way. I ran into his room and tried to close the door behind him, but he got to it just in time and it ended up in a fight of whoever was stronger. I pushed on the door, and he did as well. After a few minutes, he gave up, and backed away from the door.

"I'm weak!" Phil yelled, and I heard a loud thud on the door, which what I can imagine could be nothing but him hitting the door dramatically.

"Ah, so you admit it?" I ask, opening the door and watching as he leans back through the door frame onto the floor, since he was already leaning against the door before I had opened it.

He pouted. "Yeah, I do," he said, and he sounded genuinely sad, though I knew he was only joking. He then lifted up his arms, signalling for me to either help him up or drag him into his own room. I grabbed his hands, pulling him towards his bed.

"Do you want me to pick you up and put you on your bed too, your majesty?" I joked as I let go of his hands and bowed a little bit.

He hesitated for a moment. "Yes, actually," he eventually said, and he looked like he was trying to stifle his laughter.

"At your service, King Philip," I replied, laughing. I kneeled down, fitting one of my arms under Phil's legs, and the other one behind his back. I picked him up, plopping him down onto his bed after I had lifted him high enough, and then I plopped myself down next to him. He was laughing, and I was too, but suddenly he stopped.

"How long do you think Dan's going to take to eat?" he asked me, turning so he was facing me.

"I don't know, he's a pretty slow eater most of the time- probably somewhere around ten to fifteen minutes, if he decides to make some sort of small meal. If it's a snack, maybe like five minutes?" I replied, knowing Dan well enough to answer the question. "Why?"

"Eh, no reason, I just miss him already. Know any games or something we could play to get my mind off of it?"

"Not really..." I started. At this point, we were just staring into each others eyes, and I finally realised how amazing his eyes were. It almost felt like I could write a whole essay on them. They were the colour of the sky, but they had little golden and green flecks in them. His pupils got bigger the longer he looked at me. I wasn't sure what it was, but the longer I looked, the more amazing I felt.

"Oh. What a shame," he started, sighing. "Anything other than games? I'm bored," he continued, almost seeming like he whined the last few words.

"I don't know, what do you want to do?" I asked, being indecisive as always.

He stopped for a moment, almost seeming like he was thinking, and then suddenly his lips were on mine. I wasn't sure how it happened, but it did. I closed my eyes, and after a moment, he pulled away. Just like that, it was over. It seemed to end just as quickly as it had started.

"What was that?" I asked, my face flushed pink as I stared into his icy blue eyes.

"Hm?" he questioned, almost acting as if the previous event hadn't happened.

"Phil, you can't just do that and then pretend it didn't happen," I replied, probably with a small hint of annoyance in my voice.

Then once again, his lips were on mine, and this time he didn't pull away as quickly as before. I put my hand on his chest, slightly confused, and pulled myself away.
