Amanda's POV:

I felt like it had been ages since I was tied to this chair, Tessa was still unconscious, which I'm glad for. The shadow man, stood not to far from us,  looking at us. It was starting to creep me out, especially since I was the only one conscious.
At this moment I wanted to be Tessa, not knowing what's happening around her.

I heard the shadow man clear his throat and slowly approach me, I held tight to my side, afraid for what was about to happen "Oh lord help me please" I pray in my head.

I see the shadow man stop few feet's away from me. "Hmmm" he says.

I look toward him wondering what he was thinking about. As if he read my mind he says "I'm thinking about how did a man like Xavier fall in love with you?"

What The Heck

"Not that you're not pretty, you're downright beautiful, but a man like Xavier, a cold hearted bastard, who used to throw girls around and never gave a shit about them, Xavier who despised being in a relationship and ran away from commitment. How did he fall in love with you"

"I lived with that bastard my whole life and I always thought he would die alone with how he was always scared of commitment, but here we are. You and me having this conversation. It seems fishy to me."

I clear my throat and say "What seems fishy" scared that he might do something, but curiosity got the best of me.

"Fishy as in, if you trapped him into your web, like a Spider traps its prey, you trapped Xavier" he says.

I looked at him outraged at what  he was accusing me of, "Think whatever you want, it wouldn't matter to me, only thing that matters to me is Xavier. He simply fell in love. He's a human being too. He was bound to fall for someone sooner or later, and I guess it happened to be me who he fell for." I say back confidently.

All of a sudden I  felt immense pain on my hair, I looked up with teary eyes and saw him holding my hair tightly, he lowered down to my ear and whispered harshly "Never Ever Talk To Me Like That. Next Time I Won't Be This Generous. Understood!!" he tugged at my hair.

I nod at him and felt him leave my hair. I breathe in relief. I could feel tears running down my face but didn't care to wipe them. I wish Xavier would come soon.

Xavier please hurry up

Xavier's POV:

I drove to the direction of the warehouse and felt as if Amanda was calling for me. "Don't worry Baby, I'll be there soon. I won't let anything happen to you"

I turn left to a back road and saw a big warehouse ahead of me. That's where he was hiding for so many months. I had sent a secret code to Greyden and Giovani to let them know about my location. Rafael might know me, but he doesn't know how I handle my business.

I park the car and get out of it, leaving it unlocked in case something happens. I walk straight to the door and push it open.

Darkness that's what greeted me, only darkness.

"Welcome Xavier.. Welcome to my place. It sure has been a long time cuz" Rafael says.

Step by step I get closer to Rafael. "Where is Amanda Rafael" I ask barely able to control my anger.

Tsskk tssk

"That's not how we greet people now do we? Where are your manners Xavier? Didn't your mama taught you any" Rafael says.

I know he was provoking me to do something, he wanted me to react first but I would not give him the satisfaction for that.

"At least my mother taught me something, it seems like you forgot about manners your mother taught you." I say back, smirking.

"HOW DARE YOU BRING MY MOTHER INTO THIS!!"

"I simply answered back, you shouldn't have talked about my mother either." I say back

"THAT EMPIRE BELONGED TO ME, YOU HAD NO RIGHT TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME."

Seriously, how stupid can he be.

"That empire was never yours, it belonged to my father, and me being his kin was the rightful heir to the empire and business. If something would've happened to me then it would've been Giovani's and then yours, but you didn't want to wait for us to die, you just went against your own family and created your own Gang" I say back calmly.

"LIAR!! WHAT ABOUT MY FATHER? WHAT WAS HE IN THE BUSINESS? DOESN'T HE GET ANYTHING FROM THIS" He shouted.

"He does, but when we asked him, he straight away refused to handle it. You see he's smart, he knows that I'm the rightful heir, since I'm the oldest, just like my father is."  I say back.

"Oh really, then I guess I have no choice but to kill you and Luciano."

"You would kill your own family? Never thought I'd see that day, but I guess you can't even trust your own blood" I say.

"If I was your blood, you should've treated me like one, you treated me as if I was a mere insect under your nose. Not worthy to even spit on" he says back angrily.

"We treated you right, we treated you like family should be treated but you didn't accept it. So what can we do."

"Okay then let's end this problem here, I kill you, take over the empire and everyone will have to bow before me." Rafael says

I couldn't believe what he said. Is he stupid? What happened to him?

"I'm going to ask last time, where is Amanda" I ask.

"Oh your slut is right over there, tied to a chair. Me and her had a really good chat." He says.

The moment he called her a slut, I lost it. I grabbed him and punched him on his face repeatedly, I could feel my hands getting wet with Rafael's blood, not giving a shit about it. I pull back and look straight at his eyes. "Don't you dare call her that, she is much much better than that" I could feel the anger pouring out of me.

Rafael got up from the floor and spit blood out of his mouth. "If this is how you want it to be then let's get started, even though I wanted to enjoy killing you slowly but not anymore"

I see him taking a gun out and pointing at me. "Time to say goodbye cousin, after I'm done with you, I'll go over to that slut and kill her too, but not before I take her"

He pulls the trigger and of goes the dynamite.

I hope you guys liked it. I'm really bad at writing action scenes but hopefully you like. I was meant to update yesterday, I had everything written on Wattpad and was about to publish when I realized my father had turned off the wifi, let's just say I lost all my work. I had to write all over again (should've saved it)
