Remember when you loved me?
Or was that a lie too?
Remember when you said you needed me?
Or was that a lie too?
Remember when you said I mattered?
That was a lie too.
You never did love me.
You loved how I was the only one who cared.
You loved how I was the only one willing to die for you.
Willing to cry for you.
Remember that?
You never did need me.
You needed my love.
You needed my passion.
My drive.
I never mattered.
Not my love.
Not my tears.
My life.
Nothing and no one
Mattered to you.
Except..
You.
