They say a spark ignites The Flame.
A burning ember that, like a lantern,
lights your soul and guides you safely.
Through The Darkness. They say The Darkness is just that.
Dark.
Desolate, cold and silent.
A truly terrifying place. So when I was plunged into
The Darkness.
Would you believe it was The Flame
who sent me there?Would you believe me if I told you
The Flame didn't guide me?
But instead swallowed and burned me
condemning me to eternal damnation?Damned to The Darkness.
Scorned and wounded.
Bleeding and weeping.
Dying.Would you believe me then?
With my cheeks forever tear stained?
My body cold and bloodless?
Could you blame The Flame?
