Chapter 6 - From Time

Adonis wasn't in the mood. He had a bad day at work because his boss thought it was funny to give him 12 jobs in one day. Then his weed guy want to act like he can't answer his phone so he had to go to the store and buy some. Then Megan acting all mean to him not texting him back but reading his messages. So he at home just watching T.V. when he got a knock on the door. He gets up to answer and it's Megan with her arms crossed.

"Oh so now you want to talk to me," Adonis said. Megan scoffed and moved past him. "Sure you can come in."

"I'm mad at you," Megan said.

"No shit. I guessed that already," Adonis said.

"So you not gonna even ask me what's wrong?"

"What's wrong with you?"

"Throughout our whole date you was staring at some other girl. Who is she?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't play dumb with me. You were staring at that bitch the whole night." Adonis went to the refrigerator and grabbed a sprite can to drink.

"Bruh...you trippin and you shouldn't be calling random people bitches."

"See you care about her. Is that the bitch you got tatted on you?" Adonis stopped in his tracks.

"What the fuck you just say?"

"You heard me!"

"Chill with that shit. You don't even know what the fuck you talking about. You know what I'm sick of this shit. I'm done with whatever this is."

"What?"

"You heard me. I don't want to be fucking around with you anymore. You can leave now." Megan scoffed and left his apartment and slammed his door. He didn't appreciate her talking about his tattoo of Nyla like that. Alive or not that was still his child and he would leave anybody that would disrespect his baby.

Adonis was at his apartment bored out of his mind when he got a phone call from Kobe. Adonis answered it.

"Bruh...you see them 4 retro jordans just released we go to get them before the sell out," Kobe said.

"What's up with you and shoes you just bought a new pair last month," Adonis said.

"I need these and you coming with me. I'll pick you up in 10 minutes."

"It's not like I have a choice."

"You really don't have one. I'll call you when I get to your place."

"Aight."

"Love you."

"Nigga get the fuck off my phone."

Nebbie was at the mall with her mom. They haven't spent quality time together in a while and it was so much she wanted to tell her. They were in Sephora as usual.

"So how have you been, my love?" Veronica asked.

"I've been through a lot. I went to the club and saw Adonis then I didn't have a ride because Calista left me so he offered me a ride home," Nebbie explained.

"I bet that was awkward. Well he still cares about you."

"I couldn't keep my mind of him, momma. I went on a date with DeMarcus and he was there with his date. I got jealous. DeMarcus and I decided to part ways."
