Chapter 8 - The Sequence

"I won't stop 'til I get back what's mine"

Nebbie was at Jessica's wedding venue. Her wedding day was just around the corner and Nebbie was so happy for her and Taurus. Nebbie remembered high school and how Jessica used to be falling for fuck boys now she has a man.

"Are you nervous?" Nebbie asked.

"A little. I really just want everything to go perfect," Jessica said.

"Don't worry it will. You have me as maid of honor it's going to go great."

"I hope so. So how was the date." The sat at a table.

"It was great. I learned how to shoot a gun."

"Tell me the truth."

"Well we got a little close at the range but I didn't nothing of it. Then we went to Five Guys and we had a conversation about our jobs. Then he took me home and we...kissed." Jessica had a kool-aid smile on her face.

"You guys kissed!"

"Stop it, it was a quick kiss."

"A kiss is a kiss."

"Yeah it was nice, I missed his lips to be honest."

"So how did you feel afterward?"

"Well he said he was sorry and I just brushed it off like it wasn't a big deal."

"Aww, y'all are so cute."

"Yeah but now what I really want to do is to work on us. I really want to be with him again."

"Really? You know you be the type that wants to wait 2 whole years to get with somebody."

"You didn't even have to go there. I was trying to build my confidence."

"Whatever you was all like 'I like him but I want to love myself first' I was so tired of hearing that."

"Whatever at least I didn't go back to my ex twice."

"Shut up don't even bring that out. I was dumb and stupid back then."

"Yeah right. Anyways we plan on going to the movies."

"You can go to the drive-in movie theater it just opened and they got some new movies. You guys should go there. Get all close and personal."

"That's a great idea! I need to talk that up with him."

"Yeah but don't get buck naked nasty in the backseat of the car."

"No promises."

Nebbie was spending her Saturday cleaning up her apartment. Her phone began to ring and she grabbed it. It was Adonis calling her and she smiled. She answered the phone.

"Hey, Adonis," Nebbie greeted.

"Hey, Nebbie. I was wondering if you were busy today?" Adonis asked.

"Nope."

"Ok, I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie."

"Yeah we can go to the drive-in movie."

"Oh yeah. I've heard about that. What you to go see?"

"Barbershop 3."

"You haven't seen it yet?"

"Nope I've been busy."

"Aight I'll take you pick you up in an hour?"

"Sure. I'm excited I've never been to a drive-in movie."

"Me either. See you later."

"Alright see you later." Nebbie hung up the phone and went to the bathroom to get ready.

Adonis and Nebbie arrived at the drive-in movie theatre. It was about ten cars here. Adonis was outside setting up the speakers so they could here.

"I'll go get the popcorn and drinks," Nebbie said.

"You need money?" Adonis asked.

"Nah I'm straight." Nebbie went to go get the food and came back. She sat in the backseat of the car where Adonis was sitting. The movie began to start.

"The movie is good, Nebbie."

"Shh... don't tell it."

"I was just giving my opinion." They were sitting close together but to them it was only to share the popcorn. Nebbie laughed at a scene in the movie. "Funny ain't it?"

"Shut up. You see me laughing."

"Nebbie...your laugh is really ugly but I miss it." Nebbie blushed.

"Your laugh is way uglier than mine. Like that time when we saw that girl with the unproportionate breast you laughed really loud and almost got us caught."

"Ain't that when we took that trip to California during spring break." Adonis took Nebbie to California. He let her meet his friends even if they were obnoxious. He took her to his father's grave and they went shopping to L.A. They even had sex on the beach but that was long ago.

"Yeah that was fun but our trip to Atlanta was lit."

"You only wanted to go to see the aquarium."

"It was an experience though. We was supposed to be watching the movie but...I kinda forgot how easy it is to talk to you."

"You too, Nebbie. Kobe and Kyle are cool but I can't get serious with them like I could with you." Things in the car got silent the only thing you could hear was the movie. They seemed to get closer while they were talking. Adonis had his arm around Nebbie.

"I feel that way too." They stared at each other.

"Yeah you know all there is to know about me. It's kinda hard to start over with someone else."

"I get what you saying. You know a lot about me too."

"Hey, look this my favorite part of the movie." Adonis looked at the movie but Nebbie put his hands on his face and kissed him. Adonis kissed her back and took dominance then he put his hands on her waist. Nebbie surprised him when she sat on his lap with her legs around him not breaking the deep kiss. She rubbed her fingers through his dreads while he had a good grip on her ass. Adonis moves on to the crook of her neck and kissed it.

"Mmmmm." Nebbie's sundress strap somehow ended up off her shoulders and her cleavage began to show.

"I miss you...so much." He whispered that in her ear putting Nebbie in a trance.

"I miss you too." He went back to her lips kissing them and his hands was roaming her body turning Nebbie on even more but she wasn't the only one. She could feel his hard on and she forgot how big he was. Adonis knew things were getting carried away but damn did he miss being able to touch them curves. Nebbie put her hands underneath his shirt and began touch all on his chest. Just when things were about to get good the music from the ending credits distracted them both and they ended their long kiss.

"Nebbie... we should go now, The move is over."

"Um...sure okay." Nebbie got off his lap and she fixed her dress straps. The both got out the car and went into the front seats of the car. Adonis began to drive to her apartment. The car ride was silent. They didn't even watch the movie and who knows of what would've happened if the movie lasted 20 minutes longer. When he arrived at her place they both didn't want to see each other leave.

"See you next time, Nebbie."

"Yeah. most definitely." Nebbie got out the car and went off to her apartment when she got inside safely Adonis drove off. His car still carried her scent and so did his clothes. His lips still tingled from her lips. He doesn't know how much longer he could take this route. He needs her and not some of her but all of her. He doesn't know how long it will take before he can't stop himself and they end up in the same bed. Although he wouldn't seem to mind if they were.
