Jarred's POV

-I knew that I might be making a big mistake by trusting Daniel, but he knew the only way to possibly save Kassandra. “What do need.” I said all business as I picked up Kassandra in my arms.

“First we need to cure my brother with some of that werewolf's blood” he stated. How did he know that, that was secret information.

I nodded as we got into my car and I drove. I couldn't take him to the pack house and reveal our location.

“I'll get his blood, but you have to take her and meet me back here with your brother.” I said

“We can't go into the house” he said.

“I know that, we'll go from there” I stated, not liking when people thought I was stupid.

“You don't trust me do you?” he asked eying me skeptically.

“I never said I did. The only reason I'm here now is to save her, not you or your brother” I growled.

“Okay I got it” he said as he stepped out and in a flash disappeared in the direction of the house.

I drove as fast as I could to the pack house knowing I didn't have much time.

I burst in through the door and went to the kitchen and I grabbed a knife and a plastic bowl with a lid.

“Whoa where are you going with that?” Tristan asked.

“Where's Cameron?” I asked.

“Kassandra's escape was not his fault” Tristan said looking worried.

“I know, but I need something from him.” I said as I pushed past Tristan.

“Cameron.” I said as I spotted him.

He turned and I made a deep cut in his arm. “Ow what the-” he began as I captured every drop into the bowl.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Cameron asked me angrily.

“Nothing, I need this to save Kassandra.” I said as I left.

Trevor's POV.

I lay there feeling weak and I couldn't stop throwing up blood. So this was the end I thought as I laughed hunorlessly. I rolled over trying to get comfortable even though I was in pain.

I was having a bit of a hard time breathing and Phillip hadn't come in here once, shows how much he cares...kind of wonder why my brother works for him at all. And why he's such a kiss ass wen it comes to that guy.

“Brother let's go.” You know that saying speak of the devil and he shall appear? Ironic no?

“I can't really move and I'm starving.” I complained, where the hell were we going anyways. I can't even move.

“Here” he said as he tossed me a bag of blood. I poked my fangs into it and slurped it. It was bittersweet, and it wasn't warm so it wasn't as good as the one directly from the source, but it would have to do.

“Where are we-” I began to ask, but that's when I smelt her. She was here. I could feel her, but her smell was terrible it was human, mixed with mine and mixed with something else. Poison.

She'd been poisoned. “Is that her?” I asked already knowing the answer.

“Yes now get up” he ordered.

“Why is she here?” I asked with wonder.

“That stupid mutt, that we tortured is her mate, and he agreed to help save you if we help him save her.” Daniel responded.
