I have to save her(Jarred's POV)

****hey guys thanks for the votes on the previous chapter. so here's a new one all in jarred''s point of view cuz it was easier. sorry it took uuntil now but i had to think and i was depressed because i didn't get to go see an allstar weekend concert and i havent bought the cd yet but here goes****

I stood there frozen for about a minute before I realized I had to go to her. She said something about Cameron being almost dead or something, bound by chains that were syinging his skin...it must be silver. Not everything about movies and stories are false especially not that part of it.

I called Mikah "Mikah. They have Cameron and Kassandra, they made Hector believe that they were at the abandoned place as a distraction. They did it to get to me since I have the worst temper so they could find the Alpha faster" I explained gunning my car.

"So where are they now?" Mikah asked. 

"I don't know, I'll send you the coordinates when I know. We could also use all the help we can get, contact Dante" I sighed frustrated as I hung up. I didn't want Dante's help and I would never ask for it, but it was for Kassandra and she needed me and I couldn't do this on my own.

I drove as fast as my hybrid would go. I checked my phone and began to track where the call was coming from. I was waiting, but it was taking it's sweet old time, but I kept driving like a madman. "C'mon stupid phone" I muttered.

The phone rang. "We have a location, but you're not going so stay down" I heard Hector's alpha voice coming through the phone.

"You are the alpha and my brother, but they have my mate I will not stand down" I growled.

"I understand, but-" he began.

"No you don't! You don't have a mate you don't know what it feels like" I spat back.

"Fine, but you will do as I say do not do anything rash-" Hector said as I hung up. I drove back to the house. Since I had been in shock of receiving her call I forgot to check for her scent. I ran into the house and I could smell Cameron's and Kassandra's scent going up the stairs to her room. 

In her room it was mixed with something else, something nasty and repulsive a vampire... I followed the scent. I turned into my wolf and began to run toward the scent. My sense of smell got stronger so it became harder to withstand the smell, but it was for Kassandra.

I ran for a distance until I came up to this house hidden by trees. It was a small shack looking building. Kassandra was here I could already sense her, but the pack wasn't here yet. I had to wait for a command I didn't want to fuck this up. I stood on all fours watching, and waiting for my pack to arrive. 

'Hector, where the hell are you?' I sent the thought trying to contact the alpha through our telepathic communication system. 'We're on our way, I'll send you the coordinates now' he replied mentally.

'Don't bother I'm already here just hurry up, I'm getting impatient my mate is in there' I growled. 'We'll get there in less than 10' he thought angrily, he didn't like being growled at.

I stood there for a little while longer and I heard the SUV's but they stopped at a pretty far distance. They all came towards me in their wolf forms. 'Ready everyone the vamps are going in with us we stand together, but the ones inside our enemies you can rip their throats out. Remember we have to save Cameron too, go!'

We all sprinted towards the house as quiet as possible. One of the bloodsuckers came out and we pounced. We tried to make the kill quick so he wouldn't alert the others, but he let out a piercing scream. 

I was full of rage and anger I jumped and entered the house. A spear shot passed me and I growled menacingly. I attacked the dark haired vamp and ripped out his throat feeling a sense of joy, one step closer to Kassandra. 

The house although it was small there was a ton of vampires, but I think we outnumbered them. The only advantaged they had were the silver weapons. More of us jumped at the vampires although some of us were injured in the process. 

I felt like I was wasting my time I needed to find her. I needed to know she was okay. I ran past the vampires dodging their fangs and weapons as I followed her scent. There was a door at the end of the corridor and I knew she was there. Something pierced my hind leg. I howled....silver.

I quickly turned. It was a blond vampire. "You're not going in there." he said. I growled loudly. I pounced going for the kill, but he evaded me easily. The wound in my leg started to spread and the longer the arrow stayed the more damage. I quickly shifted back painfully pulling the arrow out. I hissed. 

I turned to him. "Let me pass" I hissed losing my strength. The arrow only made a small cut but it went a bit deep and the silver that was at the tip was going into my bloodstream slowly. I f I didn't get it out it could reach my heart and kill me.

"No that son of a bitch bit me." he said shooting another arrow. I moved this time too although I felt my leg slowly starting to get more useless. The noise around the house started to lesson, but I didn't know who was winning. I really hoped it was us. 

Something raced across my vision and tackled the vampire. I saw his face it was Dante. He nodded at me to go and save Kassandra. I nodded and raced to the door. I kicked down the door and raced down the stairs where Kassandra was barely breathing.

I quickly wrapped a towel around my waist as to not make her uncomfortable. I kneeled down and cradled her head. She had a huge bite mark on her neck. Those stupid bloodsuckers they hurt her. I felt angrier, but right now I had to help her. "Kassandra...baby?" I asked brushing her hair back. 

Her eyes opened and relief flooded me. "You came" she said sounding very weak. "Of course I came you're my mate I had to." I said as I kissed her forehead softly. She attempted to sit up but I held on to her. "Don't." I ordered.

"But we have to help Cameron" she said starting to spit out blood. I nodded and put her down. I went to Cameron and pulled the chain. "O shit!" I cursed. I looked around and found a crow bar.

I tried prying the chain off, but it was hard work and my strength was draining. I exerted as much force as I could and I got it, but Cameron still lay motionless. The burns were deep into his skin he would be out for a real long while. 

Kassandra screamed causing me to turn it was a dark haired vampire. He held her from her waist close to his body causing a growl to erupt from my chest. "Daniel, we meet again." I growled angrily. This was the vampire that killed my sister and mother and caused my fathers death. 

"We do indeed. Ooh Jarred that cut doesn't look promising." he said smirking.

"Let her go" I hissed. I felt my humanity slowly slipping.

"Why?" he asked, "I'm just gonna have a bite. Daniel leaned down as I lunged towards him shifting. I felt weaker than ever. 

"Shouldn't have done that." he chuckled as he put something around my neck. A silver collar. I walked right into his trap. 

"Jarred" Kassandra croaked. I met her scared worry filled eyes, the last thing I saw was Gabriel grab her and take her away to safety. Thank god.
