Sheila's POV
I opened my eyes and I looked around. I was in some sort of basement. What the hell happened? I tried to move, but I was tied to a chair. I tried to untie myself using my magic, but I couldn't, that only meant I was tied with silver.
Silver hurt almost every supernatural creature except for vampires. I started to struggle to try and get out of this. What happened I thought to myself.
Someone walked in and I turned in their direction. It was Dante, but what was he doing here?
“Dante, help me” I said as I kept struggling.
“I can't do that” he said as he walked closer to me.
“What do you mean, what happened?” I asked looking up at him.
“You saved her Sheila and for that I want to thank you since I personally asked you to save the girl. But your price was too high” he said as he walked towards me.
When he said that, I wasn't sure what he was talking about, but then it all came back. I saved that girl and I in return I had asked for the kids wolf.
“My prices are always high Dante and you knew that, yet you called me anyway. You should've said no if you couldn't pay it. But you didn't, now let me go and let me take whats mine.” I spat.
This wasn't fair it was for my nephew. I wasn't being selfish I just needed him to be saved.
“What if I make a deal with you?” Dante asked crouching so we were at eye level.
“No, Dante you agreed to my payment there is no dealing, I need his wolf for my nephew.” I said as tears began to role down my face.
“I know that Sheila, but I can give you something else. Anything else” he said as he caressed my cheek.
“You don't understand, my nephew is under a curse one I cannot undo, but I want him to live a normal life. I want him to age everyday as if there was nothing wrong. I don't want him to age slowly. Dante, please understand, you of all people should” I pleaded.
“I do understand Sheila. I know you want to save him, but would it really be saving him if you put someone else in danger?” he asked.
I looked away, “I don't care about anyone else, please he's just a boy.” I begged.
“But what if that's his fate?”
“He doesn't deserve it, it's my fault. The warlock who put the curse on him wanted me, but instead found a worse way to hurt me.” I said as tears began to stream down my face.
“Well have you talked to him?” Dante asked.
“No, I tried to fix it myself, but I’m having a really hard time.” I said.
“Do you at least know what he's after?” he asked.
“He's after me” I said looking down.
“What if we offer him a trade, he can have you as long as your nephew gets the curse lifted.” he said making me look up into his blue eyes.
“Dante you don't understand this guy is very dangerous-” I began as he cut me off.
“But is he a man of his word?” he asked.
“Yes” I responded.
“Then that's all we need.” he said.
I looked up at him confused, what did he mean by that?
Kassandra's POV
“Oh gosh I’m going to be in so much trouble” I said to Jarred as we watched Nilla walk away.
