Chapter 3: Because I don't want to hurt you

~Meanwhile~

When Chat Noir for hit by her attack he was unconscious but when she came back, Chat Noir was gone. Miss Fortune was looking for Chat Noir and Chloe Bourgeois that teased her in class. All that she was talking about was revenge. Marinette thought that this might be the chance of getting her revenge and her hatred to Adrien, her crush that was made in the rain. Marinette stopped finding Adrien and Chloe Bourgeois and just stands there and think about good things and memories with Adrien. The same with her partner, Chat Noir. When she was thinking about this, she had tears in her eyes. She then wiped it that no one would see it and went to find Chat Noir and Chloe Bourgeois.

"Where are these brats hiding?! I hate finding these people!" said Miss Fortune.

Then Hawkmoth make the butterfly sign on her face and he then discusses about some plans for Miss Fortune, who refuses to find these people by herself.

"Why don't you just stay somewhere, where Chloe Bourgeois might appear and then when you finish with her, you can go somewhere, where Chat Noir might appear since he was your partner?" said Hawkmoth.

"Yes, Hawkmoth. This time they won't go far away from me." said Miss Fortune.

But when Marinette was about to make her move, she saw Chat Noir mumbling to a picture of Ladybug, herself and she landed behind the bushes where he can't see her and started listening to what he says about her.

"M'Lady, why did you become like this? I-I never wanted to...hurt your feelings... I never knew anything about you...like you are Ladybug. I'm sorry, M'Lady... It's all my fault. You know I never wanted to hurt you or let you down by something it makes you sad... Sorry, Marinette... It's all my fault. I shouldn't have laughed at you like that. If I didn't then...then..." Adrien stops as he transforms back and cries, holding a picture of Ladybug, hugging it.

"Then you shouldn't be akumatized right now because of me and get evil and do think that you never want to do to people in Paris... You know I never wanted to let you down by anything...I-I'm sorry... I will change you back to normal no matter what!" Adrien says as he transforms to Chat Noir.

'Oh, Chat. You know I don't want to do this...But you hurt me and bring me down for laughing at me... I know you never wanted to do that but...but it hurts my feelings... Please, please bring me back to my own senses...I don't want to do this...' Marinette's thinking says as she comes back to Miss Fortune.

"There you are, kitty! I've been looking for you! Where is Bourgeois?" said Miss Fortune.

"I want m'lady back! Give her back! Also I will never tell you where she is now. Or else you will go find her and hurt her!"

"Oh, protecting your girlfriend? It doesn't fit your character, Adrien Agreste." said Miss Fortune as Adrien gets surprised.

"You, You... How did you know my real name? My real identity..." said Adrien.

"I saw you talking to your bae while I was observing you doing that. Smart enough, aren't I?" said Miss Fortune.

"No! I know you don't want to do this, M'Lady! Please, come back to me, please. I beg you..." said Adrien.

"You want her back? Then you need to beat me first to get her back from me! Come, and fight me!"

"You sure? Because I don't want to hurt you!" said Adrien.

As soon as Adrien said that to Marinette one of her dots in her earrings came of and now there was 4 dots remaining on her earrings. That reminded her of Adrien crying with a picture of herself telling her to come back and saying sorry for letting her down and hurting her. She was not fully thinking about revenge. She was thinking about Adrien crying and that made her have tears in her eyes. When Adrien saw her like that, he was hurt too because he thought that he hurt her so much. Also when Adrien saw one dot coming off from her earrings, he realized a solution in his mind to get her back. By taking one dot after one dot from her earrings.

"You don't want to hurt me?! You don't?! After what you did to me, you hurt me already, Adrien! You hurt me a lot that I want to kill you and you let me down which makes me think of you getting down too! Don't be nice to me! You weren't nice to me! Why are you being nice?! Why?!" said Marinette as she has tears in her eyes.

"Marinette...I...I'm so sorry... You know I never meant to hurt you... I-" he got cut off as Marinette attacked him first.

"Don't ever talk to me like that! You meant to hurt me! Now, come and fight me!" said Miss Fortune.

Chat Noir wanted to go to an easy way to get her back but he realized she didn't wanted to go an easy way. She chose the hard way to get her back from Miss Fortune. They started fighting and Miss Fortune used her Anti Charm which is the opposite of Ladybug and Chat Noir used his Cataclysm. Miss Fortune had a cardboard on her hand and Chat Noir was coming for her to use Cataclysm. But she smiled and used her cardboard and Cataclysm was gone. But when she was using the cardboard, she got hit by his claws which it damaged her and Chat Noir had only 3 lives left. Miss Fortune had to go to treat her and Chat Noir needed to go and get Plagg's energy back.

"I hate running away, Chat Noir, but you damaged me with your claws. I will see you again to finish this." Miss Fortune says as she goes.

'I hate how we need to fight, M'Lady...Can we solve this out? Can I get back to you normal?' Adrien thinks as he goes.

'I hate how we need to fight, Adrien...But if this is our fate and destiny, then we shall take it...I'm so sorry, Adrien...You know I never want to hurt you... See you again, when I turn back to myself...' Marinette thinks as she goes to other direction other than Chat Noir.

'But you know...Because I don't to hurt you...' They both thinks as they goes.

Marinette wants to be back but she has no clue of going back to normal by herself. She realized she needs Chat Noir. But Chat Noir knows how to bring her back to normal, safe and sound. Will Chat Noir succeed to bring her back to normal? or will Miss Fortune get his miraculous and give it to Hawkmoth along with her's?
