Chapter 13: My love for you

Previously on Miss Fortune...

As she falls down to the ground, Adrien goes running to Marinette who was full of blood.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HER, YOU FIEND?!"

"I can because I'm Hawkmoth with or without the mask."

As he transforms to Chat Noir, he gets his staff and cries over Marinette.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!"

"Only you who is fighting me? I don't think so, Adrien. You are way too weak for me. You are nothing without Ladybug and Ladybug is nothing without you. So give up already, son. You already lost to me. You lost her."

"No. I didn't lose her. Sure, everyone thinks that I'm nothing without Ladybug and Ladybug is nothing without me. But we don't think so. Marinette is so strong that she will get up soon enough when she is healed. Now...YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, YOU FIEND!"

"Well, if this is what you want. You can fight me as long as you want to. But there is not going to be a chance of you winning against me. Besides, Ladybug isn't going to get up. There's no going back now, son. You are just doing something that you can't do. Come, now fight me."

"I don't care if get beaten down to the ground and make me that I can't breathe. But don't touch her. If you do dare to touch her, you will get beaten more than you imagined. I don't care if you are my father or my idol when I was young. I will fight you as Chat Noir and you will fight me as Hawkmoth. No father and son. Because we are now not anymore related to each other. Besides, I don't want to be related to someone like you. So fight me. NOW!"

As Adrien yells, Gabriel just stands there in his place and Adrien goes running backwards, but that wasn't working for Gabriel. He knew what he would do. He already knew all his plans during there talk. Adrien just goes madly running to him but nothing of his attacks were working. 

"Why isn't it working! Damn it!"

"It's because you are too weak, son. I already told you why you wouldn't have chance of winning against me. Not without her."

"DON'T SAY THAT, DAMN IT! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT ME! YOU DIDN'T EVEN CARE ABOUT ME SO DON'T ACT LIKE YOU KNOW ME AND UNDERSTAND MY FEELINGS, AND SHUT UP!" Adrien says as he looks down and cries.

"And what do you know about me, son? Did you ever see me fighting someone? You didn't so I have the chance to win you anyways."

"Not when, she is here with me. She's still here with me. She's counting on me. I can't let her down. And she can't see me down too. I need to beat you down and save her. She's the only person in this whole world who knows everything about me. Not even Chloe, Nino, or you, father knows about. She is the person that I've been looking for the whole time. The only person that knows everything about me and understands everything about me. She's not Ladybug to me now. She's my only one who understands my life and she's my Marinette. That's why..." As he looks up.

As he longs his staff, she brings up his face towards him and finishes the sentence.

"I will beat you!" As he runs towards him.

"What?!" He walks slowly to backwards. 

When Gabriel was least expected, Adrien ran towards him before goes away and starts attacking him, he went and did it first.

"Take this!" As he hits him with his staff.

As he Adrien hits him directly to him, he flies to the end of the window. He was injured and he couldn't stand up because his attack was so strong.

"How c-could you be s-so strong? I-I thought you couldn't even move when I hit you several times with my attacks." As he sits down.

"Nothing makes me strong but Marinette does. Even though she's like that, I know she's counting on me." 

((Marinette is already healed. Adrien healed her before the fight.))

"She won't wake up! I know! So give up, Adrien! Nothing will work in this rate!"

"No, no. I will not give up! You don't know me that much. You only think that I will give up no matter what to a strong opponent! If it's for her, then nothing will stop me! Take this!" 

He goes straightly to Gabriel and hits him directly on the center of his body and he flies backwards again and he couldn't stand up even more.

'I can't believe this... Is this the power of love that Adrien wants? That he never had? He is so strong now. I'm no match for him.'

As he thinks, he slowly closes his eyes and Adrien thinks now he won the fight against his father who was strong. Gabriel was defeated and now he only has to take the peacock miraculous and the butterfly miraculous that his father used for his plans. But as soon thinks about the things he needs to take, he goes to Marinette first, to check on her health and her strength.

"Are you okay, Marinette?"

As he says to her unconscious body, she slowly opens her eyes and looks straight to Adrien's face.

"A...drien?"

"Marinette! You are awake! I thought you wouldn't be! Thank goodness!"

"What happened here?"

"Nothing happened. I beat Hawkmoth by myself."

"Really?"

But as she says that, she only put her head down. 

"Why are you like that? Aren't you happy that we defeated Hawkmoth?"

"I am. Of course I am. But...I didn't do anything but just lying down here on the ground and making you have a hard time by yourself...and that makes me feel bad and makes me think that is not 'we' who defeated him. It feels like it's 'you' who defeated him."

"No! Don't say that! If you hadn't come back to your senses, I would've been lying down on the ground watching the world getting dominated by the evilness. It's all you, Marinette. You did it with me. As a team!"

"Yeah! As a team" She says as she tears up.

"Marinette, my love for you is strong. You gave me powers with your love and that's why I could have defeated him. I couldn't have defeated him if I thought him as my father. So I'm so thankful for that, Marinette. Thanks for being there for me when I was fighting alone."

"Adrien..."

"Just remember. We are bonded by love and friendship. But our team is so strong with love. My love for you will be consistent."

He says as he goes up closer to Marinette.

"I love you, Marinette. I will love you forever."

"Me too. Adrien."

Now that Hawkmoth is defeated, Adrien and Marinette is now obtaining the peacock miraculous and the butterfly miraculous which Hawkmoth used to dominate with evilness. They are going back to Master Fu to give the miraculouses back to him and let other owners take the miraculous. Will this end with a happy ending? Or will Hawkmoth come back and attack Adrien and Marinette?
