Chapter 10: I'm a super heroine

Previously on Miss Fortune...

"I thought you were weak the whole time without Chat Noir. Because you can't fight but you can catch akumas and turn it back to normal. That's all you can do, Ladybug."

"Oh yeah? I think you are weak because you can't come out by yourself and you are just in your secret room controlling people with akumas. That's called being weak. You can't fight by yourself. That's why you are weak not me."

"I'm ready."

"I'm ready too. You will know that you deserve it."

"I don't deserve anything like this! I only terrorize everyone to make them be not happy and I wanted to destroy their life. You deserve everything like this, Ladybug! You don't deserve anything like happiness! Be prepared!" He says as he clenches his fist.

"Be prepared for what? Getting beaten by you? No way. I'm not going to be weak. I know I'm strong. Even though my real self isn't strong, I know this disguise won't make me stronger but I know in my both self, I'm strong no matter what. So I'm not going to let you push me down to the end. I will beat you and take your miraculous instead." She says as she smirks. 

As they talk, Adrien looks at Marinette as if he was worried, but believing in her. When Marinette turned to him and smiled, he smiled back. He wasn't worried anymore. He could see her in full of courage and that her power came back. He was now happy with his girl in action. 

"Are you ready, Hawkmoth?"

"I was ready already. You were the one who was actually buying some time to get me distracted while you get some ideas to beat me."

"Ah, you guessed, Hawkmoth? Well, I think that now you are going to win. Definitely."

"Stop with this talk and why don't we fight fair and square?"

As soon as Hawkmoth finishes his sentence, he makes his move first. He was not scared or afraid about Marinette beating him or not. He was full of confidence on his power and was full of thinking that Marinette will not be able to fight after all because of Adrien. But Marinette was not like that. She transformed into Ladybug, thought of some plans and now the only thing she wanted was her partner, Chat Noir. But she didn't think so long. She was ready to be in action. As she dodges the attack, she does her attack for payback.

"Adrien, be careful of these attacks. You might get hurt by being in here. You should go."

"But Marinette-"

"Go! I don't want you to get hurt. I can let you do that again. Now go! Hurry!"

"Where are you going, Adrien! Come here, my son!" He says as he attempts to attack him.

"Keep your hands to yourself!" She says as she grabs his arm.

"Be careful, Marinette! He is going to be strong!" Adrien says as he opens the door.

"I know! So you should go now! Go!"

Adrien goes out as Marinette fights instead of him. 

'I'm sorry, Marinette...Please wait for me to restore my powers...Be safe until I come to help you...'

"Your only opponent is me. Don't you try to touch him."

"Oh, furious? I won't touch him unless you beat me."

"Well, I'm sure that I'm going to beat you so hard that you will beg for mercy and forgiveness for what you have down to the public, but especially, Adrien. Your son has a lot of things related to this. So we have deal? If I beat you, you beg for mercy and forgiveness to the public and your son, Adrien and if you beat me, you can take my happiness away from me and take my miraculous."

"Deal, Ladybug."

As they deal their deal between them, Ladybug starts the fight and tries to dodge the attacks that Hawkmoth is giving to Ladybug. But she was a strong and a hard fighter for Hawkmoth. But Ladybug was comfortable and was thinking freely when Hawkmoth was thinking difficultly. But when Hawkmoth wasn't paying attention, Ladybug hit him with her attack and Hawkmoth was blown backwards. But he stood up fast and came running towards Ladybug. When he was about to do his move, Ladybug caught his arm that he was going to hit Ladybug with and flipped him backwards. Hawkmoth couldn't do anything but to get attacked by her.

"You are pretty strong than I ever thought, Ladybug. I thought you were nothing without Chat Noir because the only thing you can do is capture my akuma and de-evillize it. I thought it like that but now I think differently. You are strong."

"Well, thank you for your kindness, but if you under estimated me, you were very wrong. But since you  know now that I am pretty strong, you know the feeling of getting beaten by this super heroine." She says as she dodges some other attacks of Hawkmoth.

"I will keep Paris safe no matter what from you. I'm Ladybug and I won't let any villain touch this beautiful city. Not even you, Hawkmoth." She says as she dodges other attacks. 

"Are you cosplaying a super heroine?" Hawkmoth says as he stops for a bit.

"I think you got the idea completely wrong, Hawkmoth. I'm not cosplaying like a super heroine. I'm a super heroine that needs to protect this country and the whole country." 

"Not the whole world though, Ladybug. You can't protect the whole world." He says as he smirks at her.

"Well, you are the actual one that is cosplaying like a villain and hiding like loser in that costume. Hawkmoth supposed to be a super hero that is protecting this beautiful country and the world. Not a super villain that destroys the happiness. Give me your miraculous and I will give it back to the actual owner."

"No way, not in your dreams, Ladybug. You are never going to take my miraculous away from me."

"Well, let's see about that, Hawkmoth."

They starts to fight again but Hawkmoth was already tired because of the attacks that Ladybug did to Hawkmoth before. 

"Are you tired, super villain, Hawkmoth?"

"Stop...calling me...super villain...Ladybug..."

"Why not? Are you sad? Well, too bad, that is your destiny."

"You fiend...!"

"Well, after all, I'm a super heroine that needs to protect everyone from every disaster you make in Paris. So super villain, wanna start again?"

Marinette is in action with Hawkmoth. Hawkmoth is tired and cannot fight anymore. Adrien is gone because of what Marinette said to him. Now she is a super heroine again fighting for Paris and without Chat Noir/Adrien, will she able to protect it until the end or will she lose the deal that she promised with Hawkmoth?
