Chapter 12: His truth

Previously on Miss Fortune...

"How...how could you be so strong?" says Hawkmoth as he looks at them.

"We are strong because we are together. We are strong because we are a team."

"We can be weak sometimes but not in front of you, Hawkmoth. You don't deserve anything in this world." Marinette says as she walks closer to Hawkmoth.

"You think we are the same with to without our mask and each other. But you are wrong. We are strong with or without the mask. But we are stronger when we are together. Get it, Hawkmoth?"

As Ladybug and Chat Noir walks closer to Hawkmoth, he was afraid that he might be defeated by them without attacking them. But Ladybug and Chat Noir's plan wasn't to defeat him. It was to get his miraculous, know his true objective, defeat him after, and give the miraculous to the proper owner, Master Fu.

"What is your objective, Ladybug and Chat Noir? To take my miraculous away from me or defeat me?" Says Hawkmoth as he leans backwards.

"Both, Hawkmoth. We don't care about defeating you right away but later when we take your miraculous, we will defeat you as a team." says Chat Noir as he hold Ladybug's hand.

"You won't be able to do that because..." Hawkmoth stops as he looks at Ladybug and Chat Noir. 

"Because?" 

As Chat Noir finishes his sentence, Hawkmoth rapidly snatches Chat Noir's miraculous and he starts to attack Ladybug instead of Chat Noir who was transformed back. 

"Even though, you guys are a team, you can't beat me with your wiseness. I'm smarter than you, Chat Noir and Ladybug."

"Oh really?" says Ladybug as she throws the yoyo at Hawkmoth's body.

"W-What are you doing?" says Hawkmoth, confused. 

"Wrapping you like a present." she says as she walks closer to Hawkmoth.

"I will keep this for you. Thank you, Hawkmoth." she says as she take Adrien's miraculous.

"No! His miraculous!"

"Thanks, M'Lady."

"Your welcome, Chaton." she says as she winks at him.

When Ladybug gave his miraculous back, Adrien transformed into Chat Noir, and he was ready to fight him with Ladybug, who was tired. 

"M'Lady, you should go rest a bit. Your transformation will be off soon. Go and recharge your kwami."

"Are you going to be okay by yourself? What happens if you get hurt?" Ladybug says as she seem to be worried.

"Don't worry about me and go ahead. I will be fine. I'm sure." as he smiles. 

"Okay then. Be safe. I will be back soon, Chaton." she says as she kisses Chat Noir's cheek.

As Marinette leaves with giving sweet kiss to her kitty, she opens the door but Hawkmoth stops her by saying something bad about her.

"See, Ladybug? You are nothing without Chat Noir. You can't just leave during a fight. If it wasn't him, you won't be able to recharge your kwami and fight me. So you are nothing, Ladybug!"

"Well, if you think like that, I don't care. But if you mess with me, you need to mess with Chat Noir too because we are an unstoppable team. Get it, Hawkmoth? We are a team. You don't have one so. Later then, Hawkmoth."
