Severus' dark eyes locked with green ones, the same ones he struggled to look at when he was teaching g the Potter brat. Potter inherited his mothers eyes but acted more like his father.
"Sev. Leave it" Severus looked down to his wife and smiled
"I'm over it, I promise" he kissed her gently and picked up his little boy and took him to the water. Lily sat beside Dino while James followed Harry to the water. As time passed, they switched eventually. Severus was now talking with Lily and Dino was in the water with Jasper. James stayed with his brat only to stay away from them, Lily had warned him. Through all the excitement of one day nobody had noticed the small mop of black hair sinking and rising in the ocean, well, all except Snape.
Severus dove into the water with no cares for wet clothing, he couldn't just sit there and watch the boy drown, he wasn't that heartless. In less than two minutes he was by the drowning boys side keeping him up
"Breathe Potter" he spoke in annoyance just loud enough for him to hear, but the boy struggled. The more Harry struggled the harder it was for Severus to keep him up. So Severus swam with the boy, now unconscious, to shore and laid him gently back on the sand. He felt for a pulse and quickly performed some spells when he realised the boy had no pulse."Harry!!" The screams coming from Lily filled the small boys ears as he gasped for air. He shot up and looked around
"Are you alright, Potter?" Severus placed his large calloused hand on the shoulder of the scared child. Despite who the boys father was, he had to save the boy. After the incident, the two families went their separate ways. James never once thanked Severus for saving his son, but Lily? She wouldn't stop. He wasn't the Severus she knew in their later days, he had changed and began to feel again. All thanks to Dino.
"Severus, Dino" they bowed showing they were loyal servants of the dark lord. A smile played on the creepy mans face. Severus kept a tight grip on her hand as he led her to the only two seats available, she was opposite Bellatrix and Severus was opposite Lucius. She gazed into the eyes of Bella and smiled seeing how she smiled crazily. She would've thought that she would've been scared around Bella, but she was actually thrilling to be around.
"Do you have any information on the whereabouts of the Sprouse boy?" The dark lord got down to business. This kid had somehow managed to escape when his parents were killed by Greyback
"We searched the last place he was seen, it looks like he had left there, no belongings, the boy is gone" Greyback spoke."I will find him" Severus spoke up. Dino slapped him
"WE" she raised her voice "will find him" she then smiled at the noseless bald man they were forced to call master. The dark lord rose and shook the hands of his friends and followers as they made their way from the meeting room. Lucius stopped them
"You guys are coming to the ball, right?" Severus raised his eyebrow and tilted his headWhat ball?
He questioned his inner self, he never knew about the ball. Or at least back then he didn't care for balls, only because he didn't have a beautiful woman by his side.
"When?" He asked a bit agitated to leave and be alone with his wife, Beth offered to babysit
"Full moon" Lucius smiled and turned to walk away.
"Two weeks, Saturday" he finished and disappeared around the corner of his well lived home
"Let's go home" he kissed her gently and together they walked from the room and down the path to where it was safe to apperate. That night Dino tossed and turned. It had been a while since her last nightmare, Severus thought she was getting better. Dino believed it too.
He sat at the staff table, the way he looked at her made he realise he was bad news, he was the reason Durmstrang was an all male school. She had to avoid him at all costs, or she would end up hurt.
