Unpredictable

Chapter 4

"Up, down, up, down, come on ladies! You can do this, one more!" nonexistent abs and workout videos do not go well together. 


That's why wellness is by far my worst subject, but today it became the favorite since it's an all girls class and unless Chase gets transgendered he can't come in here and stare at me all the way through it.


By the time wellness is over I'm dripping with sweat and my stomach feels like all my insides catched on fire. Ow, they're gonna be so sore today and tomorrow. I better have abs by the end of the week because I did not just do all that horribleness for nothing.


After changing back to my normal clothes I go back to my locker and start packing up all my homework. Today it wasn't much but I have to do a buttload of studying since I'm having two tests on Thursday. 


I swing the heavy backpack over my shoulder and shut the locker, taking out my phone in the process. I swear I have the crappiest phone in human history. It cost me twenty dollars to get and barely works half the time. Hopefully by Christmas I'll get a better one, probably get upgraded to a thirty dollar one... 


Checking for text messages while walking down the hallway, I start answering all of Beth's texts asking if Chase has talked to me since biology.


No he hasn't, and I'm so glad. I don't know what I'd do if he just came up to me and started talking about the bathroom incident.

I'm so happy that I got through the day without any more accide- I get pulled out of my thoughts when I collide with someone. The amount of force sending me to the ground, injuring my butt once again.

"Hey could you please watch where you're goi-" I start to say but stop when I see who sent me airborn. Of course it would be Chase, unhurt and smirking like the jerk he is.


Not even trying to help me up, oh he's so lucky I'm a sweet person because if I wasn't I'd kick his nuts so hard he'd have to go through puberty again to get them back. 


I get up, glare at him for a second, and am about to just walk away when he grabs my arm and leans over, "babe if you wanna see me again, all you have to do is ask" his lips were so close I could feel the heat of his breath brush against my ear sending an involuntary shiver down my spine.


He then steps back and motions to his jeans, a big smirk forming on his lips. If I was some other girl at this school I'd probably be melting and taking up his offer then and there. He probably thought I was.. Well he's wrong. 


Instead I smile sweetly and say, "there wasn't much to see the first time, why would I wanna see it twice?" now it's my time to smirk, I start walking away but then decide look back, "Oh and you might want to see a doctor about that infection, it might be an STD" 


The look on his face is hilarious, It's like a mix between pissed off and confused. He probably wasn't expecting that. 


By the time I finally get to my car I'm feeling pretty proud until I notice that I don't have my phone anymore, it fell out of my hand when I fell. 


Ugh that jerk probably took it... there's no way I'm going back in there now though. I'll just have to get it back tomorrow. Great.
