6 months later now the summer holiday. Living in London is amazing. The kids are doing so well at school Lilly and Ben are doing really well at there new school Jessie, Casper and Jacob have all settled in at their new school, Grace and Blake have both settled into the nursery that Jodie works at which is great for them. Connor has become a proper house husband. He gets all 5 kids up and dressed in time for when I leave with Lilly at half 7. When me and Lilly have left he gives the others their breakfast, sits down with them and has his at the same time doesn't go off and do house work he sits with them. Then while the kids are playing he does their lunches and packs their bags then at bang on 8 he piles them all into the car and they head over to the record label normally he's the first one there and because Casper and Jessie's school is round the corner from the label he waits at the label with the kids and does some work until quarter to 9 then he walks the boys to school and takes Grace to nursery then by the time he's got back to the record label at half 9 having gone past the bakery on the way back to pick something to eat up for him and the other boys. By the time Con gets back to the label the other boys are at there ready to start work which is normally when Blake has a nap which means Connor and the boys can get on with some work. Most of the time Blake sleeps for about an hour sometimes more then when Blake wakes up Connor will sit with Blake doing work and playing with him. Then lunch time comes and it's Blake to nursery for the afternoon which means the boys can get on with any work they have to do and then at bang on 3 he gets Blake and Grace from nursery then heads to get Jessie and Casper from school, sometimes if it's a busy day Charlotte when shes picked up Jacob will get Casper, Jessie, Blake and Grace and take them to the record label. Then Connor takes the kids back to the label, Grace and Blake have a sleep which gives Connor time to do some work and help the boys with their homework then at half 4 Con takes them all home while the kids are having dinner he tidies the house if he didn't do it in the morning. By 5:30 when I get home with Lilly after I've taken her to whatever club she has after school, sometimes we have Ben if Jodie and James are working late Connor has got the kids bathed, fed and ready for bed. when me and Lilly have eaten we all then sit and watch a movie until bed time. Then together we put Grace and Blake to bed while the boys and Lilly watch the rest of what ever movie is on then I come down while I put the boys to bed Con helps Lilly with her homework. Then at half 8 it's Lilly's bed time and she normally takes her self up checking on, Jessie, Casper, Blake and grace to make sure they're all asleep and if not she'll come down and tell us and me or Con will go up and make sure everything is okay. So by 9 o clock it's just me and Connor and while I'm marking work or planning for the next day we'll sit on the sofa and watch whatever we're obsessed with at the moment. This is life for us, proper house husband rather suits Connor well and it's great to walk in and ask what he's done all day and for him to just say work.. I know he does all this because James, Brad and Tristan have all told me.
Something I gain a lot of pleasure in is watching Connor with the children he's amazing with them. Always taking the time to help them with their homework or read to them.
Something in the recent months that had made James very happy indeed is that even thought he can't have children naturally he could have children via IVF which has made him very happy and you can see on his face when he burst through our front door and told us that he was very excited. So him and Jodie have started the process of IVF using sperm and her egg..... Don't really think I need to go on. But both of them are excited and Ben is excited to, getting a little brother or sister, he said he didn't care which, but the look on his face suggested he wants a little sister. I don't know why he just gots on so much better with Lilly and Grace playing dress up and doing hair and stuff than he does playing football with Casper and Jessie. Connor made the joke that he's a female in a male body which then lead to a conversation about transgender people with Lilly and Ben and Ben point blank said that he just didn't like football very much and would much rather do the girls hair, which he was good at than play football in the park with Jessie and Casper.
Something we were doing for the summer was going on holiday together we were staying at the LA band house for 4 weeks with a week in Disney as well. All the kids were really looking forward to it. It would be our first holiday as a 7. But Connor being Connor had a surprise of his own. He'd booked a flight for just me and him for 4 days before the others arrived which gave me and con 4 days just the 2 of us. The others had agreed to look after the kids for us but what made it that little bit better was that my brother Louie had moved down to London and not only would he be joining us in America he was taking on the task of just looking after Blake and doing the 12 hour over night flight with him. Which rather oddly he was looking forward to. He didn't have a girlfriend there for didn't have kids of his own so looking after Blake was going to be heaven for him as he loves kids and I think given the choice he'd look after all 5 children but as James is Lilly's god father, Lilly is staying with James and Jodie, Casper and Jessie are staying with Charlotte and Michael and little Grace was staying with Ash, I had asked Brad and Sid if they wouldn't mind looking after her but Ash had stepped in and said he would which was fine because he was great with Grace.
So with all 5 children being looked after by different people me and Connor packed our bags and headed for Heathrow airport and for America.
