I heard Mom's car drove off.

Dun pa lang ako naalimpungatan at nagising.Hindi man lang ako nakapag-bye sakanya.

I rubbed my eyes and reached for my phone at the bedside table.

No messages from Gun.

Weird.He always text me every morning, kaya nakapag-tataka na hindi sya nag-text ngayon.

I went to my bathroom and fixed myself.

Nakita ko sya sa bed ko, naka-higa at naka-titig sa ceiling.He's on his office suit.He should be at the office now.

Tila hindi nya pinansin ang presence at naka-titig lang sya sa kawalan.

So many 'what ifs' ran in my mind but I have to calm down.

I was looking at my vanity mirror wearing a beige flowy gown.

Excited ako para kay Shekinah and Kenji.

Beige kasi ang motif ng wedding ni Shekinah, to look simple yet elegant.

"Im so happy for Shekinah."sabi ko habang naka-ngiti

"And I am happy for Kenji."

He spun me around to make me face him.

He rested his forehead on mine.

"Soon enough, you'll be the one who walks down the aisle."

I smiled at what he said.

He dipped his head for a kiss.
