What time was it? I rolled over in bed to face my alarm clock and saw that it was only 12pm. I had to be at the pier in an hour to help set up and all that good stuff.

Slowly pushing the warm blankets off of me, I threw my legs on the side of the bed so I could get up. I took my hands and rubbed over my face a few times to wake me up some more. I was so not feeling it today.

I didn't know what I should wear today, so I picked dark colored jeans and a dark blue polo shirt. It wasn't anything fancy, but I wasn't going anywhere fancy.

Looking on twitter I realized that the concert was already trending. That's awesome! Then I tucked my phone away and left my room.

There was a note on the refrigerator door from Bella and I ripped it off to read it. It just said she was out with friends this morning but she would make it in time for my concert.

I threw it away and checked my phone to see if there were any messages from Ariana, but there were none. After feeding and pouring water in Maddie's bowl, I headed for the pier a little early.

"Hey glad you're here!" Tom said greeting me with a firm handshake. I smiled and nodded in the direction of Kyle who wasn't paying too much attention.

"We have people setting things up already so we don't need you right now. Do you know where Ariana is?" Tom asked looking around. I did too, but there was no sign of her.

As we headed back stage, I was shown to my special mirror and place where I would go when I wasn't performing.

Ariana came rushing in placing her bag down on her table. "Sorry I'm late!" She apologized out of breath. I smiled as Tom told her it was okay.

I decided to take a seat in my chair and wait for instructions on what to do next. Ariana came over to me, kissed me on the cheek and then continued to walk toward a women and was talking to her but I couldn't hear them.

"What's next on the agenda?" I asked watching as everyone was busy but me. I could hear a little music being played in a nearby tent, and I was assuming it was the band. "Well the only thing you have to do is well, nothing. I thought we would need your help setting up but it looks like we don't." Tom said.

I got up out of the chair and stretched. "So I can do nothing?" I asked walking toward him. His eyes focused on me after looking up from his clipboard. He really is one busy man.

"Yeah pretty much, meet me back here an hour before you go on." He said before leaving our tent. Ariana finished up talking with the women I didn't know and then she came over to me when the women left. She grabbed my hands and swung them side to side. "What do you want to do now? We just have to warm up in a little bit but that's not for awhile."

What was there to do? We couldn't go far from the stage because we had a concert in a little bit, and people usually arrive at least an hour before the concert actually starts.

I took our swinging hands and extended them outwards so Ariana was pulled toward me and I kissed her. I could tell she wasn't expecting that, but she definitely liked it. She pulled away smiling, and I kissed her forehead before she backed up away and let go of my hands.

"I'm so excited." She said.

"Me too. I hope a lot of people come and they like us." I said looking around for something to occupy us. I saw a pile of cards laying on one of the back tables so I picked it up and showed Ariana. "How about we play some cards?" I suggested taking them out.

When Ariana didn't answer I spoke again, "Or are you afraid I'll beat you?" With a roll of her eyes, she trotted toward me and we took our seats dealing the cards.
