21. Angrier Than Ever

"She's a wild one." I said trying to walk without stepping on her. Maddie was the cutest little thing ever, and she rarely barked unless she wanted to go outside.

After Bella and I got home, all we did for the rest of the day was play with her and give her attention. I called Ariana and told her all about the dog, and that she should come over sometime to see her.

"Here ya go little one." I said placing down a bowl full of water for her. As soon as I placed it down she stumbled over it and spilled the whole thing. This little trouble maker here thinking it's all fun and games.

"You are going to be a piece of work aren't you?" I asked to her even though she couldn't understand me. I bent down to pick up the bowl and filled it with water again. I placed it on the floor away from her after cleaning up the mess.

She walked up to it and this time took a few sips out of it and then ran away. At least she didn't spill it this time.

When I was done playing with the dog, she ran into Bella's room and left me all to myself. I pulled out my phone and tried calling Tyler again for another attempt to make it up to him, but he never answered like usual.

Today was the day Ariana was going into the studio to record her single. I thought I would go and surprise her, so I ran to the nearest store that sold flowers, and bought the prettiest bouquet. When I got to the building, I took the elevator all the way up and on my way to the room everyone flashed me smiles.

I loved being in this building. Even though everyone was always busy and it was sometimes chaotic, it gave me a warm feeling and everyone here was awfully friendly.

I opened the door slightly and peaked my head through as Ariana was in the booth. When I saw her eyes were closed because she was trying to really get into the music, I snuck in and stood by Kyle with the flowers behind my back.

"Okay, that's enough for right now, we'll continue this in a little bit." Kyle said through the mic and then left the room so it was just Ariana and I.

When she opened her eyes to put her headphones where they belonged, she saw me and ran out of the booth to greet me with a bear hug. As she hugged me I now had the flowers behind her back and when we released I threw them back behind mine.

"What are you doing here?" She asked clueless to the flowers behind me. "I thought I'd come surprise you!" I said and then handed the flowers to her.

Her eyes widened in excitement and you can see from her facial expression that she was content. "Oh my goodness Hunter! They're beautiful!" Ariana praised, twisting them around to see all the bright colored flowers.

She kissed me and then put them next to the sound board. "So, how's your new puppy?" She asked as we sat down on the couch. I thought back to the wonderful little animal probably tearing away at the furniture right now as we spoke.

"She's great, I love her! Maddie is the craziest and most fun loving dog ever." I said with a big grin on my face. "I heard a little bit of your song when I came in, how's that going?" I asked curiously.

"Great! I'm on day two today. While you were out finding the puppy of your dreams, I was in the studio for the whole day working on this. It should be on the radio tomorrow morning!" She squealed and it made me so happy to see her happy. "That's great! I'm happy for you." I said hugging her.

Kyle came in a short while later while Ariana and I were just talking. "Tom would like to see you guys in his office." That reminded me of when I was in like middle school. "Okay captain." I said saluting him and walking out of the room with Ariana.
