"Wow this place is huge." I said barely above a whisper as Ariana and I stood on the stage. "It was almost sold out." Bella said placing a hand on my shoulder and looking around the empty stadium. Charlie walked out soon after and stood center stage. I could see he was really nervous as he looked around frantically.

"It's going to be okay, babe." Bella said leaving me and kissing Charlie on the cheek. He nodded his head, probably trying to convince himself that it would be okay. He threw on a fake smile and then walked away to I think backstage.

I walked behind Ariana and hugged her. "This is all for us, I can't believe it." I said whispering in her ear. She sighed, "It's crazy, I'm so happy I am doing this with you though." She turned her head so that she could give me a quick kiss.

"Okay break it up! They need Ariana for makeup already..." Tyler said jabbing his thumb in the direction of back stage. She rolled her eyes but made her way toward there, but not before looking back and winking. Oh she was flawless. "...and they need you to go talk Charlie into doing his opening act." I knew this would happen when I saw him on stage. "Alright."

I climbed down a few steps and walked down to the hall until I saw a door that said "Star" on so I opened it and saw Charlie. He was sitting there propping his head up with his hands. With his face in his hands he mumbled, "I can't so this." I sighed and took a seat right next to him on the couch.

He lifted up his head after he realized I had sat down, and leaned back on the couch. "What do you mean you can't do this?" I asked questioning him. I was going to make sure he did this, he needs to feel like he can do it. I know everyone else believes in him already. "I can't, my dad is going to be here and what if I mess up in front of everyone! It would be a total mess!" He shook his head trying to get the image out of his head.

I placed my hand on his shoulder and he looked at me. "You know, Bella knows you can do it. I know you can do it, and so does everyone else. Just believe in yourself! Your voice is amazing, you should show it to the world, Charlie." The corners of my mouth propped up into a smile and Charlie for the first time looked happy since we got here.

"You really think I can do it?" He faced me now, all ears. "Yes!" I stood up now facing him. "Come on dude, you're voice is so good. You worked hard and you deserve it! Let's go see what everyone else is up to. What do ya say?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest. I wasn't leaving until this guy understood what I was telling him. "Okay, okay. Thanks for the pep talk Hunter, you're the best." He said smiling and we both walked out of the room.

"We need to go warm up." Bella said grabbing Charlie and walking him the opposite way from where we were going. Before she passed me though, she mouthed a "thank you" and I nodded my head.

"Looking gorgeous as always." I complimented Ariana walking into her dressing room. She was seated in a higher chair and a women was doing her makeup. Ariana looked at me from the mirror as I went to go sit down and wait, so I smiled. "Look this way." The women said and Ariana turned her had in the specific direction to be worked on.

A few moments passed by and I just picked up the nearest magazine. I couldn't talk much to Ariana as she was getting stuff done so I waited patiently.

"Want to go find Tom to see what time we perform?" Ariana asked fiddling with her hair and walking to me. I pushed myself off the couch and escorted her out of the room first. We walked down the hallway and we passed more people than before. I guess it must have been getting closer since more workers were coming to set everything up.

"Hey Tom!" I greeted as we passed him walking down the hall. He looked from his clipboard and smiled. "Oh hey guys." He said looking at Ariana and then back to me. "When do we go on?" Ariana cut in as it was silent.
