Imagine having the best night ever, and then in a split second it is all ripped away from you. Everything you worked for, just gone in a blink of an eye. Yeah that's how Ariana felt right now.

I ran out into the hallway where workers were rushing back and forth. I looked both ways but there was no sign of her. I decided to look in her dressing room, but when I got there she wasn't there. Where did she run off to? I left the dressing room as fast as I got in there and made my way running down the hall.

I dodged as many people as I could. I wasn't really sure where I was running, I just let my feet take me.

But there was one question that was knocking on the inside of my head waiting to get out. Why her instead of me, why her at all? I didn't understand, none of this made sense. I thought Tom liked her! How could he do something so mean. He knows how hard we worked for this, it just doesn't make sense to me.

Without knowing where I was going I found myself walking toward the limo. The driver was standing right by the door and I knew she had to be in there. "Ms. Lovalo requested that nobody shall enter without her permission." I gave him a stare, and he sighed but opened the door for me anyway.

As I climbed in I caught a glance of her wiping her eyes. I took a seat not by her and she turned her head looking down to avoid my eye contact. I lolled my head back and sighed heavily still trying to make sense of all this too. As I brought my head back to normal position, I stared at Ariana trying to find the comforting words I should be saying.

Before I could do anything, she got up and started going for the door to get out mumbling, "I'm sorry Hunter it's your birthday this is all about you." She said fiddling with the door but couldn't open it. I grabbed her wrists to stop her from leaving, but she continued anyway. "I don't want to ruin this day for you, I'm sorry I'm being selfish." She argued.

"Ariana." I said softly wanting her to stop. When she didn't I said her name again but I forced her stop this time and look me right in the eyes. We stayed like that for awhile until I made her sit down next to me. She looked away like before, but I took her chin and made her make eye contact with me.

Tears were still silently dribbling down her face. I took my hands and placed them gently on her face, and took my thumbs wiping away her tears. The silence between the two of us was like a full out conversation. We both knew what we were thinking.

Without words, she lunged forward and wrapped her arms around me. The impact almost made me fall over but I caught myself. Words couldn't even describe how sorry I felt for her. I held her tight and let her cry, I was surprised she had more control over herself right now.

"I'm sorry." She cried. I stroked the back of her head and then rubbed her back, all I could do was hold her and be there for her, "Don't be, it's okay. We'll figure this all out soon, I promise." I whispered and we stayed in the same position for a pretty long time.

When I thought she had fallen asleep because she was so quiet, she lifted her head and pulled away from me. At that moment, crying or not, I wanted her back in my grasp. She wiped her eyes and gave a weak smile. "I love you." I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear, "I love you too, Ari. Now how about we go find the others, I'm sure it's long past the end of the concert and everyone's probably gone." She nodded her head and I led her out of the limo.

"You're dismissed." I told the driver who still stood outside of the limo. He nodded his head politely and let to go who knows where. Ariana wrapped her arm around mine, and I shoved my free hand into my pocket.

We entered the building again, and found the crew in the lounge. I stood in the doorway, and Ariana came out from behind me. The group looked at us with all similar expressions. I'm sure by now Tom had told all of them what he wasn't telling Ariana and I.
