"Happy happy birthday." I heard while I was half asleep but I didn't bother opening my eyes, sleep was way more important. "Wake up you slump!" I opened my eyes after feeling a few shoves. "My birthday is all day, why did you have to wake me up now?" I groaned sitting up and rubbing my eyes.
I saw Bella with the biggest grin on her face as I still managed to wake myself up. I was so not a morning person. "You need to get up!" She said throwing the covers off of me. I couldn't believe she just did that, now I was really angry. "Go away." I said pushing her over but she sat back up laughing, I was not.
"Oh you're so stupid Hunter." Bella said getting up and throwing clothes at me. "You know for a 20 year old, you aren't that bright." I rolled my eyes and Bella left the room. Why the hell did she wake me up so early anyway?
When I was about to go retrieve my blankets and head back to sleep, my phone buzzed and I checked it to see it was a text message from Tom. "Oh crap!" I said to myself reading the message that read 'See you soon!'. It totally slipped my mind what today was! Not only my 20th birthday, but our concert in L.A.!
I took the clothes that Bella had threw at me earlier, and put them on. "Thanks for the birthday wish earlier." I said a little embarrassed that I got angry at her. Bella smiled at me. "You aren't that bright." And then she made herself a cup of tea.
I had the jitters in my stomach right now, I was so excited for today. I wondered if anyone was as happy as I was, or was it just me? I checked my phone to see the time and it was only a matter of minutes before the gang all got here. Everyone was meeting here and the limo would pick us up.
My stuff was already packed and waiting by the front door with Bella's so that's one less thing I had to worry about. With nothing else to do, I sat across from Bella at the island counter in the kitchen and had a bagel that Bella pre made for me, what a wonderful sister.
"Do you feel any different?" Bella said staring at me, I swallowed my last bite of the bagel and met her gaze. "Excuse me?" I questioned not really understanding what she had met. "You're a big, bad 20 year old now, do you feel like one?" She explained to me and I finally got it. I wasn't sure why I hadn't the first time, I must be really tired.
I shook my head, "No not really." I said truthfully. Bella accepted that as an answer and got up to answer the door after a few knocks. I threw away my plate and headed after her to greet whoever got here first, I hope it is Ariana.
"Tyler! Jordan?!" Bella said looking from Tyler and then questioning the presence of Jordan standing right beside him. "Well, come on in!" The both of them walked in and I shut the door after them since Bella walked away without doing so.
I was actually shocked, Tyler was really serious about the whole 'dating' thing. Since I've met him, it was the first time ever he has decided to keep someone. I invited them to sit down and we all gathered around in the living room waiting for the others. As soon as they got here, we could leave.
Just sitting in my own house waiting for the other people, I felt really uneasy just thinking about today. My thoughts were shortly interrupted when Tyler jumped on me and wouldn't let me get up. "One... Two... Three.." He said continuing to count on as he was punching me. I was laughing so hard, not a single punch fazed me but I pretended it did to play along. "Eighteen.... Nineteen... Twenty!" He hit me really hard for the last time.
I was crying with laughter now and everyone else was too. I mean I should have been expecting this sooner or later. Before he let me up, he ruffled my hair and then got off of me taking his seat back by Jordan. "Happy birthday brother." He said with a smirk. "Thanks Tyler." I said genuinely.
As I was in the process of fixing my hair, a few more knocks were hit against the door and Bella got up to see who was at the door. I put each individual hair back into place and then looked back to see who was at the door. "Happy birthday Hunter!" Charlie said giving me a pat on the back and had the biggest smile on his face.
