*2 months later*
Maino hasn't woken up since. He was in a comma. These 8 weeks without him have been so disappointing. I don't go anywhere. Plenty friends & family come over to comfort me, but it doesn't help my pain. I've been going to counseling every Thursday. This week they were giving me a checkup to see if I was depressed because that causes stress.
Dr. Pagnozzi: "Hello, Ayanna. How are you today?"
Me: "I'm fine"
Dr. Pagnozzi: "ok so today we're just going to check your blood, heartbeat, hearing & run a few tests"
Me: "yes sir"
He came back with a clipboard for me to answer some things. Then, he ran tests on me.
Dr. Pagnozzi: "okay your 7 weeks pregnant"
My eyes opened huge
Me: "wait huh?"
Dr. Pagnozzi: "yes, your 7 weeks pregnant.. Have you been feeling a little different?"
Me: "no not really besides the regular stress"
Dr. Pagnozzi: "well since you have another responsibility you cannot be stressful due to stroke, heart attacks.. Eat healthy foods, you cannot be on your feet a lot, perhaps you may need someone to stay with you in the meantime because of your boyfriends situation, okay?"
Me: I couldn't stop smiling
I told my family & friends all about it. I'm not a little girl anymore I'm 20.
Everyone was happy for me I just wished Maino knew. Right after I left I went to the hospital to see him. I stood by his bedside & wished he'd open his eyes. He start to grow chin hair, a mustache & the sides of his hair was growing. He looked rough, but he's my everything. At this point I was thirsty to know if the baby would be a girl or boy. Also what would I name the baby? I kept looking down at my stomach & it was still flat & I knew sooner or later I would need to take out my belly ring. I stayed with Maino that night & his little sister Jasani. She is so bad & beautiful to be so young. We talked & laughed all night & I fell asleep on her lap. Maino's homeboys still took care of me & made sure I was straight while he was in this comma & they made a promise that if this baby comes before he wakes up they would take care of it all. I remember that night Maino left it in & didn't pull out & i forgot all about that because of the shit that happened, but I heard Monica recovered. Gabby told me she was in New York & her boyfriend Joey makes her go around & have sex with big drug dealers, so he can find them & kill them. Bitch mine as well be a pornstar. I'm not about to be fighting while I'm pregnant, so she better leave me alone. Right now I'm focused on my baby & Maino waking up..
