The countdown has started. I have put a sticky note on my wall with the number of pages I have left until I reach my goal. Its getting smaller every day. I'm actually kind of sad that I'm temporarily putting an end to the story.
I plan on continuing to write more, I'm just writing a temporary end so I can hand it in and have it finished for school. I have another count down going on as well.
I hope you enjoy the chapter, let me know what you think of it below with a comment. And if you like the story so far be sure to give it a VOTE!

Elizabeth was already awake when the sun peeked through the curtains in her new bedchambers the next morning. Richard and Anthony were waiting by the gate when Elizabeth arrived, they'd told the family that rooms had already been prepared and a small meal would be sent up to each room.
There was a small knock on the door, Elizabeth sat up in her bed and pulled her blankets up to her chin before calling for the person to answer. The door creaked open and a small woman walked into her room dressed in a black maids dress.
"M'lady, my name is Mildred, but you may call me whatever you wish. I have been assigned your personal ladies maid." Mildred said, walking over to the window and pulling the curtains open. Elizabeth sat there watching her every move in silence. Mildred, feeling Elizabeth's sharp gaze on her back, slowly turned around and cleared her throat.
"If you don't find me acceptable I am sure you can be given a new ladies maid more to your liking." Mildred said, her voice trailing off close to the end.
"Oh no! I am sure we will get a long fine. I've just never had a ladies maid before. I've always dressed myself and done my own hair." Elizabeth said, lowering the blanket from under her chin and stepping out of the bed.
"Surely you are playing tricks on me. It is rumoured you are to be the next queen of England, you must have had a ladies maid before." Mildred gasped and ran to get Elizabeth a dressing gown. Elizabeth frowned then shook her head.
"No, never," she said, "I've just realized I have nothing nearly suitable for court," Elizabeth said, looking around her room in bewilderment.
"That's no bother," she said opening a closet, "your brother and father arranged for clothes to be sent to your room, M'lady." Mildred said, Elizabeth cast her gaze into the closet; the walls were lined with dozens of different colour dresses.
"My goodness," Elizabeth said coming to stand next to Mildred. " I don't think I am ever going to get used to this. I'll let you pick a gown, Mildred," she said slumping back down onto the bed.
It had been two days since Elizabeth had arrived at the castle in Reading. The King was alerted of her arrival immediately and came to visit her in her bedchambers that morning. There was a knock at the door then they were opened and Edward poked his head in to see if she was decent. Seeing that she was, he strolled in looking as dashing as always. Elizabeth let a small smile form on her lips as she watched him walk towards her.
"My darling, how I have missed you." Edward said, picking her up in his arms and spinning her around. Elizabeth couldn't help the giggle that escaped her as she clung onto Edward for dear life. When he put her down her arms stayed locked around his neck and she stood on her tiptoes to give him a chaste kiss.
"We came as soon as we got your letter, and we started preparing as soon as Anthony wrote to us," Elizabeth said, removing her arms from around his neck and putting them gently on his chest. The pair was too excited to hold one solid conversation so they spoke what was on their mind hardly paying attention to the other.
