The Little Things ✔️

"Your mine, and I'm yours."

I woke up to the sound of people beating pans and plates.
"Really?" I say and roll over.
"Yup! Come on Al get up!" Jason chuckles.
"I actually can't be bothered." I say looking up at them. Lily and Jean-Pierre are in the doorway with two pots and spoons grinning at me and Jason and Nat are just leaning over my face with pans right by my ears.
"Ok ok I'm up I'm up!" I say jumping out of bed.
"So what's the plan for today?" I say looking at them all.
"Well you me and Nat are going to go shopping for the day but after that I think we are going to take a picnic down to the beach." Lily said.
"Aha cool right well I better make myself look less like a troll!"  Everyone laughs and they walk out the room so I can get changed.

"Ugh that was an amazing trip!" Nat said as we unlocked the door to their flat.
"Yeah thanks guys that was the most fun I've ever had." I said as we walked in.
"Me too." Lily commented.
As I put my bag on a hook Jean-Pierre pulled me into the small cupboard to the side. I had no idea why he wanted to speak to me. As my eyes adjusted to the light I also noticed that Jason was in the corner.
"What do you guys want?" I ask in a hushed voice so the girls won't hear.
"We were thinking of arranging a double date for me Jason and the girls tonight but we need your help." Jean-Pierre says. Ok so I came here to relax not to organise dates. Oh well I've spent time not being stressed today and it would be a cute idea so I agree.
"Ok thanks Al, just keep them occupied until we text you to come down to the beach. " Jason says.
"Ok." I reply and walk out and go and find the girls in the lounge. They are arguing over picking a movie. They both turn round looking confused.
"Where have you been?" Lily asks.
"Oh urm the toilet." I say.
"Oh ok." Lily turns back around then asks me.
"What would you rather watch buffy or PLL?" She says.
"Oh um buffy." I say
"Why?!" Lily says in complaint.
"Thank you Al!" Nat says.
We sit down and watch an episode buffy and when the credits show I get a message from Jason telling me to bring Lily and Nat down to the beach.
"Guys shall we go down to the beach for a bit?" I ask.
"Yeah sure." They both say. We get up with the episode still playing and walk down to the beach. When we get there the view is beautiful I can tell that Lily and Nat are going to have an awesome night. There are fairy lights making up a canopy and candles and blankets laid out. Lily an Nat run over to the boys and they each embrace each other. It's adorable seeing them so happy. But I can't help but miss Mat all this romance is reminding me of the guy I spend my entire life with. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I spin around with shock because the guy I didn't expect was standing there smiling at me with open arms.
"Hey there gorgeous." Mat smiles as I walk into his warm arms.
"Hey there." I say back.
"I began to miss you." I say through his jumper.
"Don't worry Al your mine and I'm yours." He says as we watch Lily and Jean-Pierre and Nat and Jason walking hand in hand along the sea line into the sunset.
