Tobias
I slam my locker shut and move onto my next lesson. I think everyone is beginning to get used to the angry glares of Four now. The more I build the walls around me, the further everyone steps back. Scared and confused. I didn't know it takes this long to get over someone. I mean I should by now, shouldn't I?

"Hey man." Zeke says. My immediate glare stops him from grinning "I just wanted to let you know that we're all going to the Diner after school, if you wanted to come."

I nod "ok"
He stands there wide eyed.
"Wait you're actually gonna come."he asks. All I do is simply shrug.
"This would be like the first time you've hung out with the gang since... Tris left."
"So?" Is all I can say. He smiles again.
"Glad to see you bouncing back." He says. I shock him again by glaring.
"I bounced back a long time ago." I say and he shakes his head but doesn't say anything. I walk to my next lesson. My books make a thunk noise on the desk. I'm next a window so I sit and day dream for the whole lesson.

Finally after school roles around and the bell finally rings. At long last I get to stretch my legs and walk out into the rolling sunshine. Zeke nods to me as I walk over and Uriah claps me on the back.
"Hi" they all say and I nod. We walk to the cars. I jump in with Zeke, Uriah and Marlene. Zeke whizzes through the streets of Chicago as we race Will.

Finally we pull into the diner. We all get out of the cars. All of them laughing and giggling with each other. Christina all of a sudden stops laughing and looks past my shoulder. Her eyes widen in anticipation. I raise an eyebrow.
"What?" I ask and follow her gaze. Nothing but an empty road.
"Nothing." She says and kicks the dirt with her feet, making a small dust cloud wash over her feet.
"Well it was obviously something." I say with slightly more force this time "what were you looking at?" She sighs and looks me in the eye.
"Fine, I thought I saw Tris. I watched her, same shaped body except slightly skinner, same mannerisms, hair, everything. She was there one minute and gone the next." She says. I immediately turn round to search for her. My eyes scan the road, street, everything. Nothing. No trace or sign up that she'd been there at all. Nothing

We walk into the diner and get our seats as we all look at something to order. We're at the booth by the window. I love the dauntless diner. We came here a lot in the first 2 years of high school and I think that Uriah can name the whole menu without a second thought. I sit there and watch the outside of the window. I can't believe for one second that Christina saw Tris. Or thinks she saw Tris. Tris wouldn't be back would she? Well we have no idea of knowing that . She's never on her phone. She hasn't texted us in 5 or 6 months. It's almost November and the leaves curl in beautiful but awkward shapes around your feet.

No one walks past the diner for a long time. The a beautiful girl with blondie brown hair walks by. A black beanie on top of her flowing hair. Black jeans and a black hoodie with combat boots. The thought of Tris immediately pumps up in my chest. It must be her, it's gotta be her. A wire goes from her pocket to her ear. It must be my IPod. But you know the thing that confirms that it's her. Two dog chains swing round her neck. I knock on the window to see whether she will look up and notice. She does. But her face is bruised and bony but still beautiful.

A large bruise covers her right eye and another on her cheek bone. Her eyes widen in almost terror. She immediately like a terrified deer, sprints off.
"Wait!" I yell but she can't hear me. I know what I must do. I launch my self up and over that back of the booth. Landing on my feet I run to the doors. I hear the gang yelling at me. After me. I ignore it. Tris is the only thing on my mind right now.
Go get her Tobias. A voice tells me. Yeah, Tobias not four. My legs have a longer stride then hers so it's easy to catch up to her. She keeps turning around to see if I'm still chasing her. She nots slowing down. I do the only thing a responsible guy would do.

I launch at her and tackle her to the ground. I get up and extend a hand down to help Tris up. A smile that I haven't had in long time Broadens on my face. She doesn't take it and gets up herself. Without saying anything she gets up and walks away.
"Tris!" I yell after her. I grab her wrist and turn back to face her.
"Please. How'd you get back?" I ask. She doesn't say anything. It's almost like she's a completely different person.
She stares blankly at me. Then a realisation comes to her.
"I came home." She whispers
