Escaping The Zombie Apocalypse

Chapter Four

(Jasper's Point Of View)

It's been a couple day's since Paige's death and no one seems to be the same especially Dylan, she hasn't talked since her death and Jayden seems worried she keeps asking me if it's normal to not talk after someone you love dies. I guess she thinks I would know best because my mother died a few years back and I've never lived with my father, but considering none of this is normal I wouldn't know.

"Where are we heading?" Carter asks out of the blue and shocks all of us, because I do not think anyone had actually thought that through I think we were just walking.

"Nowhere." I say answering her question the best I can,

After walking a few hours later we finally spot a massive barn looking like it's in the middle of nowhere, as we get closer I notice one of those things coming towards us. 

Just as I was about to go up to it and kill it Dylan comes out of now and hits it with Leo's bat right in the face, as soon as it falls down she steps over it and continues to beat it in the head until I pull her off it and drag her away, when I look behind me with Dylan crying on my shoulder I see the look in their eyes like their scared and worried.

Logan moves towards us and picks her up from next to me and carries her towards the barn and waits for us to open it and check inside.

After checking if the barn was all clear we all went inside and started to relax, Dylan asleep next to Logan with him slowly drifting off. I look over at Milo and see he's playing cards with Brooklyn, Carter and Teddy and then I look down at Jayden who's laying on my lap fast asleep.

It's sometime in the morning and we're all eating some of the food we got from each of our backpacks and out of nowhere Jayden suggests, "We should commemorate Paige, Ryan, Leo and anyone else who we know passes from this and I have an idea how," I look around and the mention of the names made everyone look upset, "I found this," As Jayden says this she pulls out a bullet and continues, "I think we should put all the names down for anyone we know whose died and then in the end their will be this bullet and the last person who will do what they want with it." 

After this everyone looks up and seems to like the idea, and so Dylan moves towards Jayden and pulls out Paige's knife only to take the bullet and carve Paige on it then she takes the bullet and gives it to Teddy with the knife, he starts to carve something into it, I think he's carving Leo into it then he gives it back to Dylan and she starts to carve another name, when she gives it back to Jayden and I see she carved Ryan into it and that Teddy didn't carve Leo but Leonardo instead, I guess that was what Leo was short for. 

After that we decided to leave the barn and keep walking.
