RockClan is situated in a cozy woodland, the westward and northward borders falling into a steep valley, where their neighboring Clan lives. Their name was based on the peaks of a mountain range which resides close past their eastward and southward borders.
The forest is made primarily of oak, with deep undergrowth and plenty places for prey to hide. There's a fast-moving river near their eastward border, and another—slower—stream near the westward border. It's rather hilly, though flat enough to trek through without much climbing.
Between the southward and westward borders, the forest blends into mainly aspen trees, and then spreads out into a large aspen forest which goes down into the valley, taking up almost more than half of it. The river near the westward border continues down into this forest.
