Answering his phone at eight in the morning, Lindsey was curled up in bed, eyes flashing open at the sound of Kristen's voice.

"Lindsey, I need you to watch my son."

"Wait, what?" as he sat up in bed.

"I have a serious interview with a magazine and my husband is not home, can you watch him, please?"

"Jesus, Kristen, I thought we agreed only to use this line for the program?"

"I know we did but this is a big deal. Please? It'll just be for a few hours and he'll most likely sleep!"

"I've never watched a baby by myself before."

"It's easy, I promise you!"

After her begging and pleading, Lindsey gave in, grumbling as he quickly got dressed, hearing a knock at the door ten minutes later, Kristen handing him over her son.

"Um, okay," holding the confused two year old boy named, Christopher.

"Thank you, Lindsey, I appreciate this so much! Here is his bag," dropping it. "He's already eaten so he shouldn't be hungry but if he cries, probably just needs a diaper change, everything is in the bag!" kissing her son on the cheek. "I'll be back soon, mommy loves you!" then waving at Lindsey as she quickly raced back to her car, leaving him in shock at how easy it was for her to leave her child with him. He did say that he'd never watched a baby on his own before, right?

"Is she always this unusual or wait, why am I asking you this? I highly doubt you even understand a word that I'm saying," picking up the bag from his porch and bringing it inside, closing the door behind him. "Look little guy, I'm going to do the best that I can here but I can't promise anything. I have a daughter on the way and still don't know what to do with her so bare with me," sitting down with the young boy on his lap. He began to cry. "Oh no, what's wrong? What's wrong, buddy?" bouncing him on his knee, turning on the television. "Look! It's Sesame Street!"

Christopher only continued to cry, Lindsey walking around with the boy in his arms, looking through his bag as he pulled out a stuffed dinosaur, handing it to the child as he just threw it down on to the floor. Lindsey was not happy, this putting a damper on his mood until he'd finally had enough and placed the boy down on the large recliner, sitting down with his guitar and playing anything that would come to mind. It got the boy's attention as he began to settle, a tiny smile spreading across his face as it caused Lindsey to smile as well, proud that he was able to figure this out on his own.

After some "male bonding," Lindsey picked the boy up in his arms to lay on the couch, Christopher comfortable enough to sleep against his chest. It made Lindsey feel hopeful, excited to know that he was going to have one of these himself, his hand running over the back of the tiny boy's head. Yes, he could be a father.

With the phone ringing, Christopher was back to crying, Lindsey jolting up out of his sleep as he placed a hand over his face to sigh. He picked the boy up in to his arms as he reached for the phone, bobbing him up and down on his hip as he answered. "Hello?" trying to hear the person on the other line.

"Lindsey...?"  Stevie's voice came through the other end.

"Baby...? Steph, hey, honey, how are you?" wincing at the fact she would now figure out he was babysitting some random woman's child.

"I'm...Lindsey, is that a baby?"

"Um, yeah, I am watching him for a friend of mine while they have an interview for some magazine. I thought I had a hang of it but now he's crying again."
