I auditioned to be in a Panic! At the Disco music video for their song Nine In the Afternoon. I was playing a part as one of the girls that chases the band. The band always let me hang out with them and I enjoyed that. I especially enjoyed it because I got to spend time with Ryan, I've had a crush on him since Panic! started. I noticed Ryan was flirting with one of the other girls, which instantly made me jealous. I had the idea to go flirt with Brendon to see if I could make Ryan jealous.

"Hey, you," I giggled, hugging Brendon.

"Hey, Alana. What're you doing?" He asked.

"Oh, nothing," I said, pecking his cheek.

"Alana, I'm gay."

"Sorry. I just — I really like Ryan and he's flirting with that other girl and — there's nothing wrong with you! I just see you more as a friend," I explained.

"Don't worry about it. But I could help you," he smiled. "Do you play any instruments?" He wondered.

"No, but I sing," I answered.

"Ok, great! Ryan likes Fall Out Boy — I mean doesn't everyone in the band? Anyways, you like Fall Out Boy too, right? Didn't you say something about Take This to Your Grave yesterday?" He asked.

"Yeah. Take This to Your Grave is my favorite Fall Out Boy album," I said.

"Ryan's favorite song is The Pros and Cons of Breathing. Do you know all the words to that?"

"Yep," I answered.

"Ok so, go stand near Ryan and be on your phone and start singing it. But don't belt it out! Just casually sing the song," he said.

"Ok." I walked over and stood about three feet away from Ryan. I took out my phone and pretended I was doing something. I started to sing Pros and Cons just loud enough for Ryan and I to hear.

"Hey, is that Fall Out Boy?" I hear Ryan's lovely voice next to me.

I stopped singing and said, "Yeah, Pros and Cons."

"That's my favorite! Your voice is amazing, by the way," He said.

"Thank you," I blushed.

"You're welcome," he said. "Do you wanna go do something after shooting the music video today?" He added.

"Sure," I agreed, smiling.

"Ok, cool," he smiled before walking away.

I walked over to Brendon and quickly thanked him again for his help before I had to do something for my part in the music video.
