*cat's pov*

My friend and I decided to go to a roller rink tonight. We thought it would be fun to hang out there. Now my friend has disappeared and I'm just standing behind the waist-high wall that goes all the way around the rink.

"Hey," a guys says to me, he's not bad looking either.

"Uh, hi," I awkwardly reply.

"I'm Ryan," the guys says.

"I'm Cat," I smile.

"I was wondering if you maybe wanted to skate with me," he chuckles.

"Sure," I agree.

      I know, I know nothing about the guy but he was cute. We skated for a while and talked. We returned our skates together and he walked me to my car before I left.

*two weeks later*

I walked through the aisles of the supermarket, checking off things on my grocery list as I grabbed them. I was now in the cereal aisle and I saw a guy who was very attractive. He kind of reminds me of the the guy, Ryan, that I met at the roller rink. I push my cart a few inches and the guy looks at me.

"Hey, Cat," Ryan smiles. Yup, definitely him.

"Hey," I repeat.

"You know, there's one thing you forgot at the roller rink two weeks ago," he tells me.

"What?"

"You forgot my number," he laughs at his pick up line. "Well, you're lucky I brought it with me in case I ran into you."

I laughed and we both exchange numbers.

"You should call me sometime," he smirks slightly.

"Maybe I will," I smirk at him, blowing him a kiss as an attempt to be flirty.

I finished my grocery shopping and was left. Once I got home I put all my groceries away. I got a text from Ryan. We talked about going on a date and it was planned for this weekend.
