*vanessa's pov*

"D-did you like the movie?" Ryan stutters.

"I loved it," I smile.

      I grab Ryan's hand as we're walking next to each other and he shudders at my touch.

"Ryan, it's ok. I know you're nervous but it ok," I assure him.

"I'm sorry, I just don't wanna mess this up," he says.

"You're not going to mess it up. Don't worry," I smile.

"Can I, um, you know," he says, I can tell he's asking if we can kiss.

      I nod and he very slowly starts to move his face closer to mine. Are lips are two inches away and I know he's nervous. Since he's nervous I eliminate the space between our lips and kiss him. Our lips move slowly together for the brief moment. I broke the kiss and Ryan was smiling brighter than the sun.

"I like you, Vanessa," he says.

"I like you too, Ry," I giggle.
